Dear friends

Please say a little prayer for a person who has a very serious lung disease and is only young.

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

Teresa

please pray for Herbie: age 78, chronic lung disorder, caught pneumonia, taken to hospital Monday – was on ventilator for four days – has been breathing on his own for two days now, but is showing severe signs of dementia – even attacked a nurse who was trying to keep him from ripping out his IV. He fades in an out – recognizes those with him and carries on intelligent conversation, then suddenly fades and carries on – thinks he’s in a boat, or on a bus with presidential candidates – or or or… folks at the hospital are stumped. . . he’s had memory lapses in the past, but not like this… need to know where to go from here.

*Please help my sister, Myra. We were raised strong catholics. My Mother was raised in a Catholic Convent in Malta from age 5 to 26 years of age. My parents raised 5 of us girls. I am one. Myra another. *
*Please, I know you will help her. My sister was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in her kidney. This Friday Myra will go into surgery and have her kidney removed. I believe when many people pray for the healing of one person, God heals them. My sister from all 5 of us continued going to church after she left home. She married in a Catholic Church, all her children are baptised and have attended catocism into their teenage years. Please, my sister is the one of all 5 of us girls that has continued open communication with God, by going to church every sunday of her life. Myra is the most compassionate of all of us and my Mother(God rest her soul)adored Myra the most. Myra is a kind and gentle woman. She is admired by everyone who has had the opportunity to meet her. *
Most of all, she is my sister, and loving daughter to Ara and Lilian Sagerian. I am begging you to ask all the priests and monseiniors(I know that is not spelled right) everywhere to pray for my sister,Myra Sagerian, this Friday April 15,2005. She needs the help from the Catholic Population, everywhere to pray with my sisters and I this Friday. My sister would never ask for such a thing. But, I would not hesitate. She is one of Gods chosen Angels, just like my Mom. I know that. I beg of you, help me. I will begin prayers at noon, please contact all you know and ask them to do the same.

My love for my sister has no boundaries and I ask you this without hesitation but humbly and with direction from the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost, Amen

Sincerely,
masagerian@earthlink.net

Dear fellow Catholics,

Please help pray for Jaime Cardinal Sin of Manila, Philippines
who is currently suffering from ailments and under medical
supervision.

Cardinal Sin who is supposed to be at the conclave cannot go to the Vatican because he is sick. He’s the only Cardinal who will not be present at the conclave to choose the new Pope.

Cardinal Sin was made Cardinal by Paul VI and one of the three remaining Cardinals of Paul VI. He was the youngest Cardinal then during the conclave of John the 23rd and was JP2’s room mate during the conclave for JP1. He was very close to JP2 and the Cardinal was very sad he wasn’t able to attend JP2’s funeral.

Please pray for Jaime Cardinal Sin. Thanks.

PAX.

If you would all be so kind, pray for a man who has a hard time praying for himself. I’m thankfull for my p.t. job that allows us to make ends meet, and for me to watch our 9month old son, but I’d rather be working f.t. in my new career field.

thank you.

Brothers and Sisters

One of the priests at St. Mary’s, and a friend of mine, Fr. Beau Davis, is in ICU with Pneumonia and has been since Wednesday. He’s quite heavily sedated and the only people they’re letting him see are his immediate family and Fr. Wilcox, who comes twice/day.

If you could keep in your thoughts and prayers, I’d be grateful.

Thanks.

Blessings and Peace, Michael

A former neighbor and a builder of Churches in the Joliet IL Diocese, George Allen, is in the ICU with cancer from asbestos. He was doing well, but developed a blood clot in his lungs. His family asked for prayers that the clot will be re-absorbed/disolved.

Thanks
Jim

For all the mothers and fathers, (you’re included mom 🙂 ) for the continued guidence and love that they forever bestow upon their children. For it is through the Covenant they made with Him, that we, from Baptism to the present, became who we are today. I pray for strength to honor my mother and father. Amen.

Please pray for me as I am at a crossroads in life and am thinking about leaving my university course and long term girlfriend to become a capuchin. It is a very confusing time.

Thanks!

Please pray for my brother who has fallen away from the Catholic Church and to God(if he was ever really there, we were raised Catholic) that he comes back to the church and develops an understanding for it’s teachings. Also pray for his girlfriend that she will come to the church and to God. He is very influenced by other people in his life. Please pray that he can find his own way and own relationship with God, that he stops being swayed by the oppinions of others.

Please also pray for my friend who has had a hard life. She grew up in foster care. She ended up going down the wrong road and became an exotic dancer. She’s not dancing anymore, but that life led her into an abusive relationship that she is trying to get away from. Please pray that she will have the strength and wisdom from God and that he will guide her in the right direction and for her to stay away from this abusive man. Please pray that she will find the love she needs in her life through God and that he will comfort her and show her the way and that she will realize she doesn’t need a man to get by and that she is good enough to be loved by someone who will treat her right.

For my mom that she stays free from cigarettes, that her osteoperosis gets better.
For my aunt, brother, mother inlaw, sister, sister inlaw, and everyone else that they will all quit smoking.
For my dad that he develops a relationship with God and finds his way.
For my husbands family that they will find their way back to God, that they can learn how to pray and realize the power that God can have in their lives. Also that they can forgive the lady that divided their family and caused so much pain.
For my husband that he can learn to stop judging and stereotyping people. That he and I continue our journey learning and understanding more about the Catholic faith and that we can find a way to impart strong moral values and God to our children. That we can raise them to have strong morals and strong faith in God.
For one of my enemies, that she can forgive me, and that I can forgive her, that she will find peace and happiness in her life and that she can remove the anger out of her heart and let love and forgiveness in.
For myself, that I can stop getting so angry and defensive and learn how to bite my tounge instead of saying very mean and hurtful things to people just because I’m mad. I pray that I can learn to be more patient and loving to the people in my life.

I pray that God will forgive all of us for our sins. Thank you God for everything. I love you.

Please pray for me, that I will become a more patient and loving person. Please pray that I will become the mother God wants me to be. Thank you.

Please pray for my nephew, who is undergoing a 7 organ transplant as I type this. He was born with an illness that did not allow his digestive system to work properly. He now has to have his stomach, small and large intestines, liver, both kidneys, and pancreas transplanted. He is 13 years old. My friends and family have been praying for him all day - they got word of an organ donor early this morning.

Thank you in advance.

Herbie slept through the night last night (giving me, who was sitting up with him the opportunity to watch Pope Benedict’s first pontifical Mass.) Anyway, when he woke up this morning, he had a second chance at passing a test to get him into a rehabilitation alternative to a long-term nursing home. Once at the rehabilitation center, the physician in charge said, “He’s not nearly as bad off as I was led to believe.” His prognosis so far is excellent, and we may get him back at home with us in the next 2 weeks! Thanks for your prayers (and intercession of John Paul the Great).

Praying! God Bless!
Thanks Marie, and everyone.

He opened his eyes today and moved a bit. The doctors are keeping him sedated on purpose to let his body rest for a couple of days. I really appreciate all the prayers!

I’m going to try again to quit smoking cigarettes tomorrow. Please pray for me, I’ve tried before, but I really hope it will stick this time!

Peace.
