Please pray for my friend, Mary, who is suffering terribly from Crohn’s disease.

I have a friend that spent six weeks in I.C.U. three years ago due to his drinking and drug use. He got out of the hospital and started going to church and was doing very well, until recently. We live in different towns so it is hard for me to see him. We talk on the phone a lot and lately I have noticed he has changed, he has been angry all the time. He wants to attack his friends and say how they are all against him (not true they all want to help him). Another friend has told me that he has started drinking again. He knows this because he went to get him out of jail; he was picked up on a D.W.I. charge. I ask everyone to remember him in your prayers, that he quits drinking and will go get the help he needs.

Thank you and God Bless

For my baby Great Grand Daughter who was abducted last night by her father. I ask for prayers of protection while the domestic mess is being sorted out.

Prayers for her and for her parents. Neither of the parents are mature and they do not know God. May the angels protect the baby and convert the hearts and minds of those who should be protecting her, instead of causing pain and grief and fear.

I have added all requests above to my prayer list. May God direct and guide us all. May the Lord who is love give us all the very best according to His will for our lives.

jmj,
Marie

My sister needs prayer and lots of it. I can’t go into detail but please be in prayer for her.

My friend’s father is about to go on the rampage again. He has anger-management issues (serious ones), and every so often he has a VERY violent outburst… please pray that he won’t go completely bonkers this time:( Please.

Please pray for my daughter. She needs to find a job soon. Thank you all so much!

Please pray for my dad who has lung cancer. He is just now experiencing the results of the cemo and radiation. He has always been such a kind man. It kind’a makes you wonder. I just know that everything is in God’s hand’s and it will be OK. Thank All of you for your prayers!
Mike

I have a special request for prayer.
Both of my grandmothers have fallen ill this year, within three months of eachother.
My grandmother on my father’s side has lung cancer that they are now treating with chemo-therapy. She is not Catholic and is not even Christian. I ask that you all pray that she hears the Lord calling her and in her time of need that she will turn to him. I have been praying for this since I was five, and now that time is uncertain.

My grandmother on my mother’s side has also been diagnosed with cancer, but will not be recieving treatment. She has stomach cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining. Her time is short and she is in grat pain. She has spent her life teaching her children, and grandchildren the Catholic life. I have offered her case up to St. Jude, because her being healed seems impossible. What I ask of you all here on this board is to pray for my family.
We all pray the rosary as a family at 9pm Central Time. If you could all join us, even once, I would appretiate it. My family needs hope right now.

-in him.

jmj,

My Great Grandaughter has been rescued. The sheriffs dept found her and returned her late yesterday afternoon. She was healthy, although in filthy conditions. She had not been bathed but obviouly her wayward father had given finger food to feed herself. She was covered in green peas. 🙂 God is so good. The pea’s are washed off and she is bathed and smells like a little angel to us.We are grateful for your prayers.

Continued prayers for the young man who is the father. He needs them. His life is a mess.
Thank You All,
Marie

wow…makes me ashamed of my own request.
I want my wife to be Catholic. I want her to join my church, I want her in communion line with me, I want her to pray the various prayers in Mass with me, I want her to pray the rosary with me.

But as it sits, I am moved by the requests on this thread, and will pray for these and reconsider my own.
My request has been for over 7 years, and I am ashamed to be reading through those from others that are in more need then I.

Humbled.

Your prayer request is important. I will pray for your wife. Others are not in more need than you. Each person’s problem is big because it is something that means a lot to that person but just because someone else’s request seems bigger it does not mean your request is not as greatly needed which it is. Sometimes prayers for conversion take years but I have seen cases where the conversion finally comes. God maybe is using this to draw you closer to Him in order for your wife to see a changed you.

Oh, Praise God! Will pray for the young man and your great-grandaughter.

Please pray for my son. That he find full time employment and that he returns to church through confession. I think that if he made a good confession he would mature and be responsible.

Just received word of twins, Anna and Alicia born to the daughter of a friend. They are small and the smaller of the two (4#) is in Newborn ICU and not taking food, breathing just fine, though.

Another friend will be having a breast biopsy tomorrow. Prayers are requested and appreciated.

Please remember the country to the north of us…Canada… in your prayers. As I discovered after reading in the Politics forum about Al Jazeera there are alot of good-hearted concerned Canadians who are praying that their country be saved from the secularism and far-left politics that has crept into their country.

My father in law passed away Monday after a short battle with liver cancer. He is once again with his beloved wife who died in January. Please pray for their souls, that they will find their way to our Father’s Kingdom; for my husband, his two brothers and sister, that God will give them the strength to continue life without their parents; for me that God will give me the strength to support my husband when he is feeling weak. My in-laws’ bodies are no longer in pain, but my heart is aching at losing them. I have known them and my husband for over 22 years, since I was a teenager. My father in law used to tell people it was either I marry their son or they were going to adopt me. I miss them so much. It has been so difficult to lose them both so quickly. But I am happy that they are together again.
Thank you,
Maggie

Please pray for my friend and her family… their landlord is selling their house from under them. They have tentatively found a place to live, but nothing is certain.

My husband, who is diabetic and works in a housekeeping job, needs a job that has more regular hours and better pay! He could do it right at the place where he is now, if something will just open up. Pray for that, please?

Our daughter, Chistine, will be having spinal fusion surgery on August 3rd. She will be off work for at least two months, maybe more…Depends…

**Christy and her husband, David, have three little ones. Michael, who is five, Alex, three, and baby Daniel is a very busy nine month old. **

**Please pray for her doctors and nurses, and pray that the surgery will go well. **

What worries me is that the kids won’t really understand what is going on…They already know that something is different about Mommy. She can’t do the things she normally does with them…

Thanks in advance…

Please pray for my husband Jimmy, he is diabetic and has a wound on his ankle. He lost his right leg a little over 6 years ago for a simular reason. I am also praying for his converson to the Church, he is a non practicing Southern Baptist. He has a great affection for Our Lady of Guadalupe, so I am making petition to her for her intervention in his healing and conversion, as well as the Divine Mercy chaplet.

CD4, Christine and your family will be in my prayers, my husband has had two spinal surjuries in the past and I know the concerns you are facing. I will be adding all the members prayer request to my prayer list.

Please pray for my husband, he is not Catholic and has recently forbidden me to bring anymore Catholic literature into my home. I do not show it to him, I only read it myself. However I accidentally left a paper by Karl laying out and he blew up over it.

Please also pray for my daughter. I have been praying now for 14 years for my husband’s conversion but my daughter, who is soon to be 13, will be making her decision shortly as to which church to join (Catholic vs Presbyterian). I know this decision will be very hard for her. She has been praying also for God to join our family together under one church.

God bless you all.
