All you prayers warriors please remember my daughter, Christina, especially at Mass. She needs many things that only the Lord can give her. Her most immediate need is to find a job that will be good for her. She has an interview coming up Nov 10th. This long period of unemployment has taken a toll on her health and self-esteem. It’s breaking my heart so I ask your prayers :gopray:.

God bless you,
Joanna

Please pray for Catelynn Young. This little one (10 months old) is fighting for her life in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She recently underwent open heart surgery, but the repair did not fix her problem. She faces another open heart surgery and maybe even a transplant.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we trust in Thee!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!

Hello Irish! Catelyn and all of you will be in my prayers from now till Eternity! Please let us know how things improve.

Peace and all good,

Thomas2

P.S. Why do us parents usually forget to ask for prayers for ourselves when our children are having difficulties?

I have been a Lutheran all my life. I feel that I have been blessed by the Holy Spirit and loved by God, however, since I have found the Catholic Church, I feel I have found the true church and true peace through Jesus. With this said, I have also felt more attacks and temptations by Satan. This is one reason I feel that the Catholic Church is the one true Church. Please pray for me and my battle with Satan and my growth within the Church.
I am encountering the same thing. I’m a recencent convert from a baptist demonination, and I love this faith…but I’m always attacked. I feel more guilt, confusion, and satan seems to know exactly when I’m vulnerable…pray for all of us new converts, that we wont give up the good fight and go back to our old, comfortable ways! :blessyou:

Please pray for Deanna Favre - the wife of quarterback Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers.

As some may already know, Brett Favre’s father suddenly died this past December of a heart attack. However tragedy struck again for the family three weeks ago when Deanna Favre’s younger brother died in an ATV accident on their property. The following week Deanna Favre was found to have breast cancer…I think they found it early however…their family has been through a lot within the past year. Please keep them in your prayers.

Please keep a friend of mine in your prayers tomorrow as he under goes open heart by-pass surgery.

Please pray for my new honorary nephew, a little baby named (are ya ready for it?) Maximillian Kolbe Kowaleski. He’s having a little trouble with his lungs and is in ICU. Lord Jesus, hold him close in Your Most Sacred Heart.

Remembering all of your intentions at Mass and Eucharistic Adoration this morning. His Sacred Heart is forever open to receive then all. All glory to the Trinity.

My very good friend’s sister is in the hospital. She had 2 surgeries recently (one for a hernia, and one for kidney stones) and is suffering from complications including pnemonia. Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Please pray for my daughter Erin who is 20 yrs old. She was paralyzed in a car wreck in April and is recovering slowly. Please ask our Lord and the Blessed Mother to help her recover and to give her family strength.

God Bless

Please pray for the loved ones,
especially the tortured,
of a quarter million champions of the faith of Jesus Christ who have gone on to be with our Lord.

For forty years they have turned their cheek, and sought peace from the Indonesian mlitary who occupy their lands and have moved 1,200,000 Islamic settlers into their homelands; when West Papua declared its independednce in 1961, they hoped the United States whom they had help during the Pacific War would respect their independence as Holland did;
instead John F Kennedy reacted out of fear of the Soviets and sold the people and their lands to Indonesian occupation;
Please pray for West Papua.

Since the Indonesian invasion of 1961, between 100 and 500 thousand West Papuan Christians have died at the hands of the Indonesian military.
Since 1964 the Organization for Papuan Freedom (Merdeka in the foreign Indonesian tongue) has sought a peaceful return to their beloved democracy before the Indonesians brought guns to their homelands.
For forty years the supporters of Papuan freedom have been tortured and slaughted, their townships burnt and the people driven to hide in the jungles;
for forty years the good people of West Papua have resisted the evil tactics used by the IRA, by Palestine, and other oppressed peoples because Melanesian culture forbids the harming of innocent peoples.
No people have suffered more than the West Papuan people;
and they would GREATLY APPRECIATE if Americans would pray for the return of Papuan peace to their homelands.
  • emails with questions welcome.

Please pray for my father-in-law who fell and broke his hip today. He will be having surgery tomorrow (Friday).

Please pray for Munir a human rights activist whose death on 7th September 2004 upon a flight from Indonesia to The Netherlands was today confirmed as the result of arsenic.

Please pray for me as I attempt to overcome a certain sin in my life that has me shackled. Thank you for your prayers, and your kindnesses.

*for *Paula, who has severe diabites, resulting in amputation of one leg last year. She has infection in her other foot, and is going for surgery.

Please pray for physical healing without amputation, and emotional healing for severe depression.
