Sadly (for us, I suppose), my cousin didn’t make it. I’m sure he could still use the prayers, but now especially for his mom and little sister. 😦
 
I am sorry for you sadness and pain Firebug, and will continue to pray for them all, and you. Our loss is heaven’s gain. (I think that is what you meant by, “sadly, for us”.) I hope he knows joy that has no bounds.

Well after 3 years of remission my Crohn’s disease has become active again. I been resting alot and eating very little (eating causes pain in my digestive tract). Mostly living on soy milk for the last few days. We have a very important legal meeting on Saturday, if you could pray that nothing major happens between now and then so I can make I would be very greatful. Thank you!

Prayers are with you, rayne. Know exactly what chorn’s disease can do to one’s life. After suffering a very agressive form of it for over 20 years, the Lord deemed fit to heal me in Israel. Without even asking I might add, while I was there. I empathize with your pain, your frustration and times loneliness. But like my spiritual director used to tell me…offer it up for the salvation of sous…allhers is saying the same thing. And boy, there is enough pain to go around, let me tell you. Strictures were my weakness during those 20 years…the bowel would be as thin as a lead of a pencil and the food could not go through without causing much pain and blockages! My son also suffers from it…in a different way though. I had it when I conceived him.

Prayers and love to you…please rest as much as you can!
 
Dear Shosana and Allhers…your prayers and words are so inspiring. I am deeply touched by your love for others. May the Lord bless you and give you peace because you both are his messengers.

On this Veterans’ Day I am offering prayers for all those in the military. I am offering prayers in thanksgiving for my father ( a Veteran of WWII) that he returned safely from that horrible war. I am offering prayers of thanksgiving for my son’s safe return from Iraq. I am offering prayers for all those on this forum who have relatives in the military.

THANK YOU!! Thank you to everyone. After a year and a half of the same terrifying problem, the first good news we’ve heard came today. Please keep up the prayers!**
O Lord my Savior and my Master, I, Thine unprofitable servant, with fear and trembling give thanks unto Thy loving goodness for all Thy benefits which Thou hast poured so abundantly upon me, Thy servant. I fall down in adoration before Thee and offer Thee, O god, my praises; with fervor I cry to Thee: O God, deliver me henceforth from all adversities and mercifully fulfill in me such of my desires as may be expedient for me. Hear me, I entreat Thee, and have mercy, for Thou art the Hope of all the ends of the earth, and unto Thee, with the Father, and the Holy Spirit, be ascribed glory, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
 
Harold, for whom I requested prayers yesterday, is dramatically better today! After being in such bad shape that there was fear he would not recover, he came off the ventilator, & ate a meal today. This is a wonderful answer to prayers by so many.

I hope he lives and recovers fully. He will be in my prayers. May the Lord help him and his family. Don't lose faith. The Lord is listening.

You and Brant won’t be forgotten Cris.— BarbaraAnn, what a kind soul you are, I will keep your son in prayer too. I know how scary that must be for you. Today the Priest offered Mass for all those in the Military, most especially those now serving and the Veteran’s.
Zooey, Harold and Elsie weren’t forgotten in prayer, only in the above post (one of my aunt’s had that surgery too when she was in her 80’s and recoverd well too.) I won’t forget them.
Continued prayers for Forest-Pine’s little one (what a beautiful praise prayer that was that you posted.)–For amiee’s friend Arlene’s husband (pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the dying).

—We got some good news today too-our daughter’s pregancy is progressing nicely, thank you all for your prayer’s. She is doing much better and the baby is too. Please continue to pray for them. Thank you all you great prayer warriors.

For minor surgery tomorrow. I have a foreign object in my shin bone, so they have to try and remove it. We don’t know what it is. :whacky:

Amen…and for a lady named Theresa who posted that her friend Mason has committed sucide, he left a wife and four children. Lord have mercy.
