I was wondering if I could request some prayers for my brother. He is a Marine and was in Japan but he’s been sent to the Phillipines to help with rescuing people from the mudslides there. He called my dad the other day to tell him about working at that school that is buried. Please pray that his and his fellow Marines work will be blessed and that they also will stay safe over there. I worry about him…he’s almost done. In April he’ll have 8 years in the Marines, and then he’s coming home. Thanks so much and I’m praying also for all the requests here. ❤️ God bless.
 
There is still no word of what is happening with my friend Phyllis, that I asked for prayer for…
In the meantime, another lady in my church passed away last night from lung cancer…Three weeks ago, she was singing in the church choir. Her name was Doris. Dot, as we all knew her, was one of God’s great women. She was well into her 80’s, still driving, singing in the choir every Sunday, painting beautiful paintin\gs, & praying for everyone else, as her own health grew more precarious. She leaves grown daughters, many grandkids, & her husband of 60+ years. (He needs prayer; he has no faith, & has to be reeling…)
Last week, the 12 year old daughter of a local family died very suddenly at home. Gina was born with multipole handicaps, both physical & mental, but she was the most beautiful, loving child…

I am all but burned out…It seems there is so much sorrow & pain in my little community. The whole village is in a state of depression, too much all at once!!
Please pray for us all, when you pray for the above requests. There is just too much hurting & loss right now…

I’d like to requests a prayer for myself, that I don’t have strep throat. I hope to see a doctor today, but we’ll see. I’m praying for all these requests listed here.

Update:
DBIL is in treatment now…though he does not have cancer…he has a very rare and grave disease of the spine . The doctors have only seen 4 cases of it ever so his treatment will largely be “experimental” The doctors are hopeful… .DBIL remains completely confident in God’s will for him.

For my oldest son who hurt his ankle bad. He has no health insurance and cannot aford to be off work. 😦
 
For the Bishops in Massachusetts that they remain ever vigilant to protect children being placed for adoption.

Please pray for my friend’s mom who died yesterday of cancer and for her grieving family. Thank you.
 
Please say a prayer for the 43 asylum seekers sent from Australia to Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean, public leaders and their families who last month fled their beloved West Papua to flee ethnic cleansing and Jihad. May they and their community find the Lord’s grace and protection.

I was just informed today five month old daughter has an enlarged heart and will need further testing done this month. Please pray for her health. Thanks
 
Prayers for all who have family members who have strayed from the faith. May our Lenten sacrifice’s awaken the spirit of faith with in them. May they come home to the fathers house with Joy and gladness, during this lenten and Easter season.
 
Please pray for Fr. Robert Altier, a wonderful and faithful priest from the Archdioces of St. Paul/Minneapolis. He is being persecuted and punished for preaching the true word of God and teaching the truths of the faith. I am sure that the fact that his internet site has been shut down that posted his homilies and the fact that he cannot do his radio show on Relevant Radio is causing him much suffering.

Prayers for Fr Millstead, a local parish priest, who has been unwell for some time - it seems he will be too ill to perform his duties for a while.

Continuing prayers for mum who yesterday returned home from hospital - for her speedy recovery. And for a special intention of my own.

My prayers for everyone on this thread :gopray:
