Please pray for this man’s (David) mother, father and brother who are devastated. I went to pay my respects to the family and was crushed to see the anguish in his mother’s eyes. Please pray that Jesus may comfort them through this terrible time.

I will pray for everyone on this thread.

An update on my friend’s little baby Sophia Grace:

I am asking for a very special and VERY URGENT prayer
request for my friend’s little newborn baby, Sophia
Grace. Sophia was born Oct. 3 at 7 months, 2 pounds,
with a hole in her heart and other heart problems. She
had heart surgery which did not work well, and now
needs a heart transplant. Her condition as of tonight
is life or death because the doctors told her mother
that she just had a partial aneurism in one of her
arteries. If the aneurism ruptures, or blocks the
heart and lungs, she will die almost immediately.

Right now she is very pale and losing blood and all we
can do is pray for God’s will, but also for a miracle
that He will heal her or that she will get a heart
transplant very soon. Please pray.

If you could all say an emergency novena for Sophia,
that would be wonderful. You just say this prayer 10
times. (9 times for the Blessed Virgin Mary to help
her immediately, and the last for thanksgiving for
Mary’s help and intercession):

***Remember, oh most gracious Virgin Mary
that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help,
or sought thy intercession
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto thee,
oh Virgin of Virgins, our Mother.

And if anyone could offer up a Rosary, or knows a
priest who could offer up a Mass for her, that would
help so much!! Thanks to those who are already praying for her at prayer groups, etc!! She is holding on, and I know God doesn’t want us to give up on her!!

Please pray for my friends who have been affected by the freak snowstorm in Western NY this past weekend. Some of them have no power, heat, medical supplies, etc. Also, for my good friend Tracy who is very ill and had her apartment flooded due to the weather and her mom’s restaurant which was damaged as well.

I was stuck in the storm while at my folks–no power or heat Thurs. night but we were able to get it back Friday night. My 4 yr. old niece was scared and didn’t want to be in the dark so I told her we could pray to Jesus to help us out.

I would like to thank God for getting us through. It was by His grace that my husband was able to drive me back home safely via the thruway when most of the roads were flooded. I prayed very hard that I’d be able to get home because I didn’t have any more medicine or medical supplies and I really needed them. God was with my husband every step of the way. Thank You Lord.

i’m also praying for everyone here.
 
Please pray for me. I’m becoming Catholic and I deeply want to be more pleasing to Christ and let go of my sin. Thank you, and I will pray for all of you.

Please pray that my sweet daughter Anna has a speedy recovery from an upper restitory infection and ear infection. She is just 16 months and the poor dear is miserable. (she even cries in her sleep). Please pray the she gets healthy and remains healthy, happy, safe, in my custody, and free from all harm.

I say in my custody because I am in the middle of going through a divorce with her father, who is a drug addict. He lies cheats, steals and has been abusive. So please help me with the divorce also… I’m so scared and lonely. Most of all, keep my daughter in your thoughts. I thank God for her everyday. She is such a blessing! the greatest gift!

Been unemployed for awhile. Have a job interview on Thursday for a well paying position. Problem is my teeth are in terrible shape and my extractions and new dentures arent set until Nov 17th!

Please pray I not only get the position or a suitable one with same company - but that God keeps my potential employers eyes off my teeth - even if I get the position and have to tell them I have dental surgery planned!

Its great to be offered an interview and possible job but its the worst timing because of my teeth! 😦

I wanted to say a public prayer of thanks to Our Lord for a turnaround in a health situation that I’ve been worried about for almost a year now.

And thanks also to the Blessed Virgin, St Rita, and St Joseph for their intercession in this matter.

Please pray mightily for my daughter Robin? She was suppose to have a minor surgery today for what the doctors thought was fibrocystic cysts in her abdomen. Instead they found an egg size mass which they don’t know what it is. The gyn physician said it was beyond her scope to handle it. Tomorrow they will do another CT scan and they are calling in a specialist.

I am afraid that her Dad’s hereditary cancer has reared it’s ugly head once again. All three of our kids have the gene that their Dad had. His mother died of a similar mass that started in the abdomen like this one.
