Prayer Requests #2

Please pray for my grandmother who is very ill, that she will hold on until my mom and dad are able to get to her. My grandmother is in Mexico and my mom and dad are traveling tonight to be with her. Also, please pray for my mother, that she is able to deal with this situation whatever the outcome may be, that God and our Blessed Mother fill her with peace, acceptance and love in spite of the pain. That those around her are able to console her and each other.

There has been some fighting among the siblings and I just pray that there is peace and that this time will bring them together as a family and that the fighting stops.

Any and all prayers will be greatly appreciated because I know those prayers will help my grandmother whether she stays with us a bit longer or if it’s time for her to meet our Lord, thank you.

Pray for my girl friend Edith that she come into the Church.

For her best friend Camille who is Catholic that her faith be strengthened.

My friend Suzanna that her faith be strengthened.

For my friend and fellow RCIA-er. That he will start taking the faith a little more seriously.

Finally that my own faith be strengthened.

Please pray for the respose of my sister’s Godmother who at the age of 42 died last Wednesday from stomach cancer. She left behind an 8 year old daughter.
 
I could use some prayers. I lost my job the other day, although they’re giving me two months to find a new one. The reasons are tedious and boring, but it’s partly my fault, and partly the fault of others. My fault is that I’m a slow writer–I write big projects on an ever-shrinking timeline and I’m easily distracted. Others’ fault: well, I could get things done faster if I didn’t have to rely on people who’d rather look for girlfriends on dating web sites.

But that’s neither here nor there. In two months I’d better have something new lined up or I’ll be choosing to pay my mortgage OR eat.

Much obliged.

Please pray for my DH who is undergoing medical tests tomorrow. That the results are negative.

Also, please continue to pray for my best friend’s mother. She had to have a trach put in because the oxygen mask wasn’t working for her.

As some of you know, I volunteer at our local Catholic hospice. One of the patients that I have been close to is in her final days. She has two grown children who, it appears, are not coming for her passing. I will be there as will the head nurse who has taken care of her. Please pray that she finds peace and enters into the kingdom of Heaven where our Savior awaits those who are His children.

I offer my prayers for God’s blessing on all the intentions posted here.

Please send up your prayers for my husband’s coworker Sam. He’s only in his mid-twenties, and he had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital today apparently suffering from a stroke. He’s a real nice fella, it’s such a sad thing.

My sister is approx 11 weeks pregnant, she has just called to tell us that she is bleeding/clotting terribly and was on her way to the hospital. Please pray for my sister and that God’s Will be done. Also pray for the precious soul of my nephew/niece.

😦 My niece/newphew has gone to heaven. My sister miscarried. Thanks for the prayers and please keep them coming for our family to help us heal.
