Prayers for a 4 y/o boy with a tumor on his brain stem

Please pray for Dakota, a four year old boy who has been diagnosed with a tumor on the stem of his brain. It’s 2-3 inches long.

His former pediatrician had misdiagnosed his symptoms as allergies and has been on allergy medication for most of his life. His mother finally got him in to see a new pediatrician. She took him off of all of his medications because she felt he was way over-medicated and wanted to get his system clean. After a few (maybe six) weeks, Dakota wasn’t any better. So, the pediatrician ordered a CT scan, which showed this tumor on his brain stem.

Dakota is to have surgery this coming Thursday. The doctors have told his parents that he may not survive the surgery. Please pray for Dakota and his family. He is their only child (and grandchild for the grandparents).

Lord, please send Your healing to this little boy and take away this tumor. Comfort him through this frightening time in his life. Strengthen and encourage his family as they support him through his surgery and recovery. Please bless his doctors with the skill and knowledge needed to fight and beat his tumor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
 
Lord Jesus, Divine Healer and Physician,
we beg of you to heal little Dakota.
We trust that you want for not even the
least of us to suffer. We know how much
you love the little children. Please Lord,
heal this little child and grant peace to
the parents and grandparents. Grant them
strength as they struggle through this trial.

God our Father, we lift up this precious little boy in prayer to You. You love the little children so much that Your Son took a child in His arms and gave us a model of how we are to live: with the humility, simplicity, and innocence of a child. Jesus said that we are to come to You as children, and ask much of You. Lord God, command that Dakota’s guardian angel be at his bedside as his protector; send the guardian angels of Dakota’s parents and grandparents to shield them from despair, as it is one of the chief weapons of Satan. Strengthen this boy’s family in their faith.

Jesus, our loving, merciful Savior, act as the Divine Physician and drive out the tumor that afflicts Dakota. Guide the doctors who will perform surgery on him to remove the tumor; we ask for a miracle for this boy. Astound those who are taking care of him, so that they may realize that You, God, are capable of all things.

Mother Mary, take care of Dakota as only you can. Carry him in your maternal arms through this time of trial, and act as his nurse. I ask through your intercession that God will send a miracle for him and his family, as he is an only son and grandchild.

St. Michael, Prince of the Heavenly Armies, send your legions of angels to keep the devil at bay and provide defenses for Dakota’s parents and grandparents. Remind them that the Lord God, above all, fights with them and for them.

I pray all these things in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.
 
Merciful Lord, in these sorrowful times, we have no one to turn to but You. Blessed be Your name, as You are the Master of all life and love us with an unfathomable love. We lift Dakota up to you, as You love Him so deeply that we cannot begin to perceive it. You conceived of Dakota from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine Plan. In faith and trust we lift him and his family up to You, begging Your mercy and healing graces. Father, every cell in our bodies instantly obeys Your Mighty Command. We beseech You to have mercy upon this young man, for his life holds the potential of changing the world for Your Son, Jesus Christ. Only say the word, Lord, and he will be healed. Graciously combine our feeble prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to form an unending petition for mercy and healing upon Dakota. Graciously send doctors, nurses and technicians who reflect Your love to the world around them. Strengthen his family in faith and love, teaching them fervent prayer which will serve them, and Your Kingdom, for all time. We humbly ask this through Christ Jesus, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
 
I am praying for this dear little boy to receive a miracle and come out of his surgery as good as new. :crossrc:

Praying very hard for a complete recovery for this precious child!
 
Such sad, sad things we must endure in this life. I will pray VERY, VERY HARD for Dakota to come through this surgery. I pray that his parents will be strong and will hold on to each other through this difficult time. I pray for the entire family of Dakota. I beg all the angels and saints in heaven to intercede for Dakota’s total healing and grant a miracle!

I just received a bit of an update. The operation is supposed to take at least nine hours, if he survives the whole operation. The doctors said that the family is looking at a worst-case scenario.

Another update. The doctor who was to do the operation today was on call and unable to perform the operation today.

So, they sent little Dakota home. They are hoping to do the operation next week.
