My predicition, when Obama brings up Romney’s 47% comment (and he must) Romney will bring up Obama saying “And it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,” comments from his first run and then laugh it off…thus finally killing this stupid thing. I think Ryan did an AWESOME job of killing it…but Obama has to try…and he’ll get smacked down in his efforts. But Romney has to do this with a laugh…not beating Obama on the head with his comments…but laughing about how things don’t always come out right.

** “As it stands, no religious institution will have to refer, provide, or pay for contraception.”**
Am I missing something?

Without getting too far off-topic:

From my research, this is statement is, basically, correct. The problem is that a government bureaucrat – the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services gets to determine what the definition of a “religious institution” is under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare).
The amended interim final regulations specified that, for purposes of this exemption, a religious employer is one that: (1) Has the inculcation of religious values as its purpose; (2) primarily employs persons who share its religious tenets; (3) primarily serves persons who share its religious tenets; and (4) is a non-profit organization…
Should this be brought up in tomorrow’s debate – Gov. Romney needs to point this out. The mythical “Separation of Church and State” (for those believing in it) runs both ways.

You don’t play the Debate Drinking Game? What is wrong with you? 😉
There was nothing at the link but the picture you had on your post. There’s nothing about the drinking game on it.

When they start throwing numbers out there, whether 47 %, x-trillion dollars, x-dollars in tax increase/decrease, x-million people, etc., I just get completely lost. I have learned over the years that numbers can be twisted to mislead although I know that throwing out numbers is a politician’s saving grace. I just wish Romeny would quote Ronald Reagan: “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” It is Obama’s HHS Mandate, pro-abortion stance, unilateral decision making, broken promises (when he spoke at Notre Dame, did he not mention the need for dialogue?), and handouts to left-handed citizens with blue eyes and red hair that have the initials ME that make me cringe.
As Mark Twain said, there are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics.

The picture is the game. 😃 At the top it says Drink if your candidate says the following. Then lists when to take a drink. Then below if either candidate says the following.

There are a lot of different one’s out there. I just picked a random one.

EDIT: Here is one with clearer instructions.

First Lady Michelle Obama said in a radio interview with Pablo Sato, co-host of Pablo & Free on WPGC 95.5, a Washington, D.C.-area hip-hop radio station, that the United States is in the “midst of a huge recovery” because of what “this president has done.”

I thought Michelle Obama was embarrassed to be an American?

Anyway…
