As long as he doesnāt say āYouāre the boss, iām just Rossā then he hasnāt gone too far down that path.Romneyās taking the Ross Perot stanceā¦he just said, āgridlockā![]()
That is true, but I think she genuinely thought Obamaās use of the words āact of terrorā were meant to characterize that attack. In fairness, Crowley also confirmed that it took 2 weeks for the President to state that it was an act of terror, as opposed to a spontaneous demonstration.Ćrowley helped Obama promote the lie that he called Libya an act of terror on September12.
If he starts whipping out the charts and graphs then weāll knowā¦As long as he doesnāt say āYouāre the boss, iām just Rossā then he hasnāt gone too far down that path.![]()
Well, he certainly dominated in time.Nothing personal at all - but I think Obama clearly dominated tonight![]()
I disagree. I think Romney got the better of Obama.I agree.
I agree that Romney could have been more specific on some things. What debate were you watching? how many times did you hear āI know how to do thisā from Romney without hearing anything REMOTELY specific?
I donāt think either ādominated.ā The President certainly did much better than he did in the first debate. I think Romney was better in the first debate. From a style standpoint, they tied. I think it was either a draw or Romney, but weāll see what the rest of the country thinks. My vote, and yours, are pretty well settled.I agree.
Yep, and the moderators let it happen all three times.Well, he certainly dominated in time.
Of course he is used to it, he demanded more time two weeks ago and Biden did the same thing last week.
Obama did a decent job of defending himself - much better than the first time. However, Romney did a good job of pointing out the reality of the current economy and the 4 years of failureā¦e.g. slower growth this year than lastā¦than last year from the year before thatā¦I disagree. I think Romney got the better of Obama.
Oh my gosh!!! That absolutely drove me bonkersWell, he certainly dominated in time.
Of course he is used to it, he demanded more time two weeks ago and Biden did the same thing last week.
Actually not quite half. High 30-low 40% was what the fact checkers came up with.Obama did cut drilling permits in half.
CNN is supposed to have some coming up shortly on the post-debate show.Has anyone seen any snap polling?
Letās not get dramatic: it was a grand total of 4 minutesWell, he certainly dominated in time.
Of course he is used to it, he demanded more time two weeks ago and Biden did the same thing last week.
I think youāre incorrect on that count, because the problem is that Romney only offers HALF of his plan⦠the half that everyone wants to hear. Tax cuts and a strong military. He refuses to go into the other half⦠how to pay for it. Thatās the problem, and thatās the gaping hole.I agree that Romney could have been more specific on some things.
However, there is an important point I wish to make which is you canāt criticize the man on two fronts for 1) saying that he doesnāt offer any specifics and then 2) make claims about exactly what his plan would do. Either there are no specifics in which case it is fair to call someone out on that; or there are enough specifics for one to do the complex mathematics needed to score the policy and predict an outcome. It cannot be both of those things. The President, and Obama supporters seem to want it both ways, and they are mutually exclusive.
Didnāt Romney do the same thing last time?So bummedā¦I missed most of the debate.I caught just the tail end.
Obama was arguing with the mod over time when I turned the TV on. Was he that obnoxious all night?
