Actually, a CBE is performed by a physician, NP, or other health professional so it is not a SBE.
It is the same exam. Or it should be.

And as my doctor told me, I should be doing a better job than she does. Why? Because if I have been doing them every month, I will know how they normally feel. On the other hand, she only does an exam one a year.

It is pretty sad that we have to continue to fund PP, the largest abortion provide in the US, to ensure women get a breast exam.

If I was at voting age (ahh! One year off from this election! :p), I’d look at it like this:

Obama has supported a woman’s right to abortion. Obama has supported legalizing gay marriage.

The Catholic Church knows that abortion is a moral evil. The Catholic Church does not support homosexual marriages.

I’m a Catholic. So I side with my mother Church. So I (would) vote for Romney.

In my dad’s words:

“As I think about this week’s Mass readings and the upcoming election I have come to conclusion. Those Roman Catholics who voted for President Obama and are going to do so this year, you are spiritually dishonest. President Obama is pro-abortion, pro gay marriage and pushed the HHS Mandate on the Catholic Church(some Protestants also). So how do you sit in Mass every Sunday and listen to teachings that you personally oppose. Hypocrite comes to mind. The Church doesn’t force you to stay. Their are 30,000 denominations that preach your values. You obviously aren’t worried about obedience. The Roman Catholic Church isn’t a democracy. Never will be. So don’t continue being luke warm. Either you are obedient to the Church or you are not. Your souls are at stake.”
👍👍👍
This is AWESOME. Exactly the point!

Oh come on you know that whole breast exam argument is a complete straw man anyway. And we have Obamatax now, so everyone must have insurance, as such just go to your Dr for it.

The gov’t can create jobs, unfortunately its the taxpayers that make the money to pay for them.
You can’t have a stable economy without government regulation. This is a fact that even Romney wouldn’t deny. What Romney said made no sense what so ever. I must conclude that he misspoke.

It’s not quite the same. The clinician examines the breast in several positions whereas women are typically taught to examine standing up in the shower. It’s about technique. But yes, with SBE and CBE the breasts are being palpated. It’s true that if women do enough of their own exams they can detect subtle changes. However, a big problem is many women don’t do SBEs.

I’m not disagreeing with you about funding PP because the breast exams and paps do not erase the many abortions they provide.

You are wise beyond your years!

I wondered why those issues weren’t part of the debate. It was on domestic policy, after all.

=Pork Roll;9903690]The government doesn’t create jobs according to Mitt.
Government does not create wealth. To further quote libertarian-leaning Jason Lewis: All government can do is raise taxes, borrow or print.

Only the private sector can create wealth.

All government does is redistribute.

Funny, I have two jobs that are directly related to government subsidies or employment.

No wonder why you don’t like Romney. Is it about the $$$?
I guess I’m the 47% who are leeching on society.
More of those folks, that includes me, need to have skin in the game and should pay income taxes if that is how we want to raise revenue.

I think it’s a bad idea to tax labor and capital. We should look at taxing pollution if anything and have government be a user-fee based service.
The government in my case supports our family. But I guess jobs only come from Mormon CEO Wall Street bankers.
Romney has said several times (and it happens to be true) that most of the jobs in America come from small business.
Funny how the Marshall Plan and the military are all government programs.
The military’s job is to protect us from foreign invasion.

The Marshall Plan was to prevent another WWII and was decidedly good, fruitful foreign relations.

Those actions are much more Constitutional than intentionally getting people on the government doll for one’s own grab.
