I don’t think any Catholic who has posted in this thread is voting for Obama. The “debate” here is essentially nitpicking over how enthusiastic or frustrated we are about Romney.
Just figured it might be helpful to remind everyone that we’re all (mostly) on the same side before this thread bursts into flames…

To answer your question, it’s clear these debates are geared for the undecided, independent voters, at least that is how it’s supposed to be. If what I hear about Biden having had to cheer up the dem base is true, this administration may be in more trouble than I thought.
As a rule, (and I’ll paraphrase Rush here), liberals can never tell you what their real plan is, or they’d never win a presidential election. That’s why Obama is campaigning to the right of where he really is.
Romney, on the other hand, has a bunch of consultants in the beltway who in some cases probably believe the New York Times or folks like Neal Boortz who say to tread lightly with women and gays or they and the independents will flee, as though independent voters like myself (although I vote exclusively GOP now to save the country) are looking for any flaw to run into the arms of those “caring”, fuzzy democrats.
So basically, a republican candidate has to be anything but conservative in their view, as El Rushbo would say.
–Of course in Boortz’s case, he speaks about slavery from the hip and has said some controversial things about people with disabilities.

It’s not the government’s job to “create wealth” but to create and protect a system which allows families to provide for themselves. Only God creates wealth. Everyone else uses their talents and skills to take advantage of the wealth that God created.
Mormon theology says that being industrious and wealthy will help being industrious gods of another planet in the future. For Mormons, they really believe that they “create wealth”.

Ladies and gentlemen, my opponent obviously wants what is best for our forums, but is simply not up to the job. Its time to make a bold choice, to get CAF on track again. We don’t have to live this way.

Does PP funding go towards paying for the mammograms? If it does (which I believe it does but I am not 100% sure) then I would guess that is what he means by saying PP provides mammograms, ie ACCESS to mammograms.

Government regulation is crippling this economy. Small businesses choke under red tape.
We’ve got the Clean Air, Clean Water Act, Superfund and mountain of other things.
We need to dump the AHA, Sarbannes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank and a bunch of other entitlements including PBS subsidies.

There are better organizations, ones that don’t have an agenda of KILLING BABIES in the WOMB, that help with mammogram access. PP does level 1 breast exams…ones that women can do AT HOME!
