30 Years Of US Black Middle Class Economic Gains Have Been Wiped Out
businessinsider.com/us-black-middle-class-is-suffering-2012-10

There’s what your precious Obama has done. He fulfilled his real objective though. Keep the poor on the plantation so they stay beholden to the Democrat party for handouts.

IF Obama had really wanted to help the poor, he would have spent the first two years of his administration getting them training and getting them ready for jobs rather than Obamacare. He would have managed the economy better rather than playing around with Solyndra etc. Helping the poor was not his objective. It wasn’t even in the top 5 on his list of objectives. He knows the democrats don’t actually have to help the poor if they just talk about it and send them lousy little-tiny checks every month.

IF Obama really wanted to help the poor he wouldn’t have saddled the Church with the HHS mandate which is going to shut down charitable agencies throughout the nation and cause hunger and deprivation. But no, jabbing the Catholic Church is more important to him.

And Obama has done absolutely nothing for the truly poor in this country. In fact, he has hurt them in various ways. For two years he could have passed anything he wanted to pass. For the poor…nothing at all. Nothing.
Except making more of them by his policies.

But nobody is. Nobody here said that.

You are the one who is touting Obama because you think (erroneously) that somehow he cares about the poor. You are trying to put words into God’s mouth making Him say that caring for the poor is a function of government. That’s not in the bible at all.

Now, the Church does say society, at its most proximate competent level has a duty to provide decently for those who cannot help themselves. That might be the federal level, it might be the state, the county, the town or the family. Never does the Church decree there is a moral imperative for the federal government to do any particular thing, and certainly not healthcare.

What others are saying here is that Obama stands for some very evil things; things the Catholic Church teaches are intrinsic evils that cannot be outweighed by other political considerations. Your version of morality impels you to accept those evils for the sake of what you (in opposition to the majority of Americans) thinks is a good thing of relatively minor consequence. I don’t particularly doubt that is what your morality is, but it is certainly not Catholic.

You are arguing that it is somehow wrong for Catholics to bring their religiouly-derived moral beliefs into public policy, while at the same time acknowledging that everyone else is entitled to bring their moral convictions, however derived, into that very same public policy. You have said you are willing to accept abortion on demand because others in society (five men on the Supreme Court, actually) say we must. And yet, you are unwilling to accept the teachings of the Church, the majority opinion of Americans and, indeed, that of the world at large. The U.S. has the most permissive abortion law on the planet, and almost none is as permissive. This really doesn’t work as a persuasive argument in favor of the like of Obama.

And Obama has done absolutely nothing for the truly poor in this country. In fact, he has hurt them in various ways. For two years he could have passed anything he wanted to pass. For the poor…nothing at all. Nothing.
All one has to do is look at the prices at the grocery store. The prices there are absolutely not helping the poor. And keeping them on welfare is not helping. That is enabling.

Obama is still promising amnesty so of course that’s gonna appeal to the hispanic population at large. Despite the fact he promised to do it right away once he got in office and hasn’t done anything remotely close to fulfilling that (or any) of his promises.

I am not convinced by a national poll on 1 demographic. The majority of Hispanics they could be polling could be in states like New York and California that would never go for Romney

State polls on Hispanics show a much closer race

Florida International University/Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald poll found Obama only had 7 point lead in Florida with Hispanics. Romney leads 6 points in Florida overall

The following polls were done before the first debate, so Romney has probably increased with Hispanics in these states

Democrat leaning pollster PPP found obama leading with hispanics by only 2 points, 49 to Romney 47, with in margin of error

2008 McCain got 42%, Obama 57%

ARG Colorado poll says Romney has 38% of Hispanics and Obama with 53%

2008 McCain got 38%, Obama 61%

Wsh/nsc/marsist Nevada poll says Obamahas 62% of Hispanics, Romney 36%

2008, John McCain got 22%, Obama 76%

**Obama and Muslim Americans: Resumes forwarded to White House
in effort to add Muslim-Americans to top Obama administration posts
** – Chicago Tribune Headline (from above link)

If this is true - does it mean …

– for a temp job until 1/20/2012

– A Sharia Law type will come in to moderate all the radical feminism?

or is it more like:

WANTED: MUSLIM AMERICANS for high government posts. Need not document native birth.
Must be open minded about Gay Marriage, Abortion, Banning Public Prayer and Pornographic Rights.

Immediate Openings at all levels
Apply 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C.

– WHAT HATH GALLUP WROGHT?!

Latest PA statewide, conducted October 11-13, shows Romney leading by 4-points in PA, 49%-45%
If this is the case, then he can win without OH. If Romney leads in OH, too, then this race is over.

Obama hasn’t helped the poor.
He gave them hope!

Now admittedly he has also dashed their hopes as things have gone from bad to worse. But I am sure that given the next four years he can give them change. He just needs more time to scrounge for change in Air Force One’s seat cushions.

Our President. He was voted in legitimately, as I pray he will be voted out, legitimately.
He has no interest in representing the 50% or so of the population that disagrees with him. He has called us his enemy. He is not my President.
