Why do you feel the need to bring sarcasm into this? It’s not appreciated.

If that is true, then Rick Santorum and Bobby Jindal should be excommunicated, as they support the death penalty and many other things that the RCC is strictly against. Do not just go after the “liberals.”
Don’t preach to me. You are not really a Catholic as your postings are the proof in the pudding. You are what is called by the Liberals a “Useful idiot.”

I disagree with none of the RCC’s teachings, I just disagree on how harsh they are to the democratic belief system.
I do not see how opposing same-sex marriage is not discrimination, which is evil in itself.
This statement say’s otherwise.

Let me ask you something, what would you think of me as a Catholic, telling you that as a Catholic I believe that theft is immoral and than turning around and encouraging my neighbour to steal?

God Bless

Thank you for reading
Josh

Do you not see how that would hurt my feelings? You’ve just judged me and insulted me. I am, in fact, a Catholic. No human will tell me otherwise.

You technically would be a hypocrite. But aren’t we all?

I do not see how opposing same-sex marriage is not discrimination, which is evil in itself. Please do not judge my knowledge of my Catholic faith when you have no reason to do so.
I am judging your information, which is sorely absent on this issue. The Bishops and the Vatican have judged the issue, and they have a right to judge the issue as those to whom you and I both owe obedience. They are the moral authority to whom we owe primary allegiance, not the U.S. electorate or the American Gay Lobby, or the MSNBC propaganda machine which mistakenly calls it a “right,” or the Democratic Left.

The Church hierarchy has been abundantly clear about why opposing homosexual “marriage” is not an abridgement of “rights,” because there is zero inherent right to such a faux and intrinsically evil arrangement. Again, had you read the documents you are required to read by virtue of your Confirmation, you would have already known that.

Regardless, the subject of this thread is not homosexual pretend-“marriage,” falsely seized as a “right,” but rather Nancy Pelosi and her stand on abortion. It seems that you brought up a different issue, which is why I addressed that.

The IRS has oppressed people and the election is tainted and may have changed because of this, we have the scandal of Benghazi, any of these scandals are worse than anything Nixon did and he was impeached. Obama openly voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act of Illinois, he supports Non-Negotiable wrongs as listed by the Catholic Church, the health care plan will be a fiasco.

Let me just say… I don’t believe in “rights.” We all have unlimited rights or no rights at all. And yes, I did know what you just presented me.

This is quite unbelievable, what these priests are doing. Such men have no right nor reason whatsoever to demand of anyone that they renounce the Catholic faith, and may God have mercy on their souls. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I think these “priests” are making a “mortal” mistake. It is time for someone, man or woman, to inform the clergymen of the Catholic Church that they do not decide everything nor do they know everything.

When a Catholic clergyman is threatened with pregnancy and actually raises a child of his own, I’ll be happy to accept their stance on abortion. While I am pro-life, I’m not pro-life because the Roman Catholic Church told me to be, but because God did.
If you are, indeed, reading the catechism of the Catholic Church “every day”, as you claim, and still manage to type the above, I question your reading comprehension skills.

I’m weary of Catholics who do nothing but rant against the leaders and shepherds of our faith. Truly.
I.am.sick.of.it.

The most charitable thing I can say is to advise you to pray for discernment, while you read the catechism “daily”, as you claim to do.

That would be why I read it day and night. I, in fact, do know my faith.
Well, you are incorrect in thinking that the Church is categorically against the death penalty. See CCC §2267. Perhaps there are other tidbits that you might be surprised to learn?

In all seriousness, welcome to CAF. I do hope you’ll stick around here. 🙂

You are entitled to your opinions, as are we all. I don’t wish to argue anymore, for clearly we are not getting anywhere and we do not understand each other. God bless you!

Economically, people have suffered greatly under Obama, Unemployment has been over 7% all of this time and has been worse among minorities.

You technically would be a hypocrite.
Can you see the comparisons in what you have written?
But aren’t we all?
No. As a Catholic I believe that the sexual acts of homosexuality are immoral and that marriage is only between a man and a woman. So why would I advocate same sex marriage for others? it would be nonsensical or completely heartless.
Catechism of the Catholic Church
CCC 2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
If you see the sexual acts of homosexuality as immoral, than why would you try and advocate and embrace that form of sexuality for others? it would seem a bit heartless of you.

If you see such acts as immoral in your faith and you seclude your faith and advocate the exact opposite of your faith for society, that’s hardly living your faith is it? that’s more condemning your faith if your knowingly doing it.

Also, your not pro-choice in regards to Abortion are you?

God Bless

Likewise. God’s blessings on you, as well.

Your Church does believe in rights vs. (faux) “rights.” And since you claim that you “did know” it, then you have chosen to oppose your Church, the authority of Christ on earth, on this issue. The Church bases her teaching on true and permanent rights as being linked with divine law, nothing less and nothing more.

And as far as your deliberate personal opposition goes…

as someone else said, good luck with that.

Obama is more like an anti-Christ, funding persecution against Christians in places like Syria.

Speaking down the Catholics in Northern Ireland under the occupation of a colonial power.

Who is a real Saint is Governor Scot Walker of Wisconsin, the legislators there defunded planned parenthood.

Planned Parenthood is a puppetmaster of the Democrat of the Party, in Illinois, south of Wisconsin, a woman died at a Planned Parenthood clinic, I think those who support politicians that fund Planned Parenthood such as Obama should be tried on cases such as this.
