A leading pro-life attorney who works with state legislation to protect women and unborn children from abortions is dueling with the liberal newspaper USA Today, which issued an editorial opposing abortion limits.

USA Today complains about a South Dakota bill that requires women to wait 72 hours before an abortion so they can get supportive counseling and pregnancy support from a pregnancy centers that will offer them better alternatives. Not content with the notion of showing women options other than abortion, USA Today writes, “Non-emergency abortions in South Dakota are available only at a single Planned Parenthood clinic in Sioux Falls, which performs abortions one day each week when a doctor flies in from Minnesota. If a woman lives in Rapid City, that’s a 700-mile round trip. Under the legislation, she’d have to make the trek twice, or find a place to stay in Sioux Falls during the waiting period.”

Why should it be easy to murder an innocent?
Exactly, its terrible. Also, its like they want to make the experience of abortion as hellish as possible for the pregnant woman. I know they shouldnt be going for an abortion in the first place, but in alot of cases the girls have been lead into believing that its the only ‘sensible’ option as she has no one who wants to support her in keeping her baby but are happy to support her in killing him/her. So the clinics, because the people who work in them believe they can play God, want to perform as many abortions as possible, and offering emotional support and councelling will only take up their precious time and money. Its far easier for them to get the patients in, kill their babies, then kick them out the front door without even a second thought.

Lets pray for this brave attorney. She’ll probably have a tough battle on her hands, knowing how the world is today, but she’s meeting the challenge head on and with God’s help she’ll have at least some success.
