Proclaiming the bride and not the bridegroom

You seem to think that God is most glorified by what we say about Him. I think He is most glorified by what we do for Him. Even the demons called Him the Holy One of God in Luke chapter 4.

I tend to think that God is most glorified by what He has done in us, not what he says about us. In return it is what we now do with what He has done that glorifies Him. See Matthew 25.
The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. - Acts of the Apostles

God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him. - John Piper

Which of the three posts above seem to bring the most glory to God?
What’s real funny is that neither ewok or myself were trying to bring Glory to God, we were answering a question you posed. If someone started reading the thread at this page, you’d have succeeded in making both of us look like we were crazy. Good job using someone’s answer to your question to make them look like they have no clue as to what they’re talking about.

Okay, now’s a chance to post for the record. Why do you love the Lord Jesus Christ?

I have enjoyed my time on Catholic Answers tremendously. I definitely enjoy my Catholic siblings in Christ. I have noticed that many Catholic siblings like to proclaim the bride. However, I believe Scripture reveals that we should be proclaiming the bridegroom instead of the bride. Do you think my assessment is correct?
I will say it outright. For me, I definitely define the Church. You can think what you like, but I ain’t no heretic that worships or exults the Church and ignore Christ. Reason: Christ is the head of the Church. The Church is his Mystical Body. As Catholics, we know that the Church is crucial to our lives.

In the same way, there is no Bride without a Bridegroom. So no Church without Jesus. And Jesus would not be a bridegroom without a bride. If you talk about one and does not believe the other exists, it is like saying man without woman or woman without man. Or even scarier, the Father without the Son and the Son without the Father. And of course, you cannot consider the Father and the Son without understand there is the Holy Spirit.

That is the tactic called proof texting and in doing so, he’s not answered the question. Basically, we answer his question, we ask for clarity, he is obtuse, blames us for not knowing the answer and then we are proof text against these testimonies.

Adam does this to everyone, it is not just you. For some reason he takes virtually everything out of context in an attempt to prove his point. My expperience has shown me that people do this when they can’t back up their own ideas. 🤷

You answered that question but not the one that Shannon and I asked you. Care to answer now?
If Christ’s dying, rising and return isn’t the central point of Christianity, what is? And if you don’t mind, it has to come directly from the Bible.

I already answered your question. Now, why do you love the Lord Jesus Christ?
Uhhh, no you haven’t. You haven’t said anything about how Christ’s dying, rising and returning is not a central idea of Christianity.

I think you need to discuss what Christ accomplished in his life, death and ressurection for sinners. Think about it, a Mormon can post exactly what you posted without blinking.

Answer the question. You’ve only re-stated the same premise that brought about the same question that you’ve failed to answer.

I did but you just miss the central point again. Why did Christ live a perfect life and died on the cross for?

So what if a Mormon can post it? Can a Mormon quote scripture? Why don’t you just admit to ewok and myself you don’t have an answer for what we’re asking and we can move on with the discussion at hand.
