Thanks, I appreciate that it does go to prove a few things. We are fallen creatures and the many are the many and the few are the few. That is one of the problems there are many more people professing to know Jesus than those Jesus knows; sad but true.
**Hi Seeking, ;wave:

Yea, I agree with you. Some of them even came along within the last 500 years and are attempting to tell Jesus’ Church what is right and what is wrong. :whacky: Jesus won’t recognize them when they proclaim “I drove out demons in your name!”
Myself, I am just a poor sinner attempting to be the best Christian I can be and hoping to get some Protestant to also be able to finally become Christians. That is “followers of Christ”, not Satan like their *counterfeit groups are directing them to follow!

Lets pray for one another.👍

St Monica, Please help me teach these false believers what it is like to realy follow Jesus. Their eternam sould may depend on your intersecsion on their behalf like you did for your son St Augustine. May his words sink into their minds and bear fruit! “He who created us without our help will not save us without our consent.” ~ Saint Augustine **

Why do you want someone other than Jesus to intercede for you?

Clearly you have access to the ultimate authority, just ask and ye shall receive.
i guess you don’t believe in asking anyone around you for help, because you gots Jesus! clearly you have access to the ultimate authority and need no one elses help.

please take the 4 minutes to read the in-depth explanations and resources given on this site like everyone else. it’s like complaining about how variables don’t make sense the first day of algebra class… over, and over, and over again.

I’m just a rotten filthy sinner, thinking I was a “good person” before God called me into His salvation through His generous grace and showed me just what a “good person” looks like in His sight. Now my life has been renewed and the life I once lived is dead and I praise and thank God everyday. My prayer for you is that God has called you out of darkness and given you the Light, which is Christ. amen**

Well, back in Feb 22,Fr.John Houle SJ was given the last rites by his friend Fr.Parrish…the good father placed a relic of Blessed Claude DeLaColombiere on Fr.Houles forehead and asked the visitors in the room to pray to Blessed Claude to cure Fr.Houle…thats all he asked for in those simple words…next day ,Feb.23,(next monday,) he was cured of pulmoniary Fibrosis which is a fatal disease…the first words out of Fr.Houles mouth was.“I am sooo hungry, I would love a pizza!” over 200 pages of documtation, the tell tale XRays etc. were sent to Rome and the rest is history…so there are no formal prayers ,we members of the RCC are not always tied down to a strict code as so many who ask questions here imply!..from the heart …not a script.

Hi seek. 👋

We all fall short of the desires of God. But thanks to Jesus sacrafice we all can be saved through the Mercy of God!. I am not seeking anything. I am a born again Catholic, who know that Jesus is the only way to the Father! Come and follow Jesus, it won’t hurt you as much as giving up your sinful life seems to have! I think you would make a Good catholic, you seem to ant to learn the truth, may protestants think their phony groups can provide savalation. That is so ridiculous! Jesus made one church and told the the correct way to obtain salvation in John 6. That eliminates all counterfeit groups. So what do they do? The call jesus a liar! How cute is that? Jesus repeates himself and warns 12 times and the Fools say He didn’t mean what he said! The way of open. Repeant and come follow Jesus!

God Bless**

**Thanks for the invite, but I’ll stick with “Born again Christian”. I agree with you on the substance of John 6; one of the great sermons on the Bread of life.

God bless you with eyes to see and ears to hear!**

**Hi Seeking, 👋

I have them and they are not blinded! Why do you refuse to see the truth? Don’t be foolish, If you aren’t following the RCC you aren’t a Christian PERIOD! It is that simple. The desire of your heart means nothing without the action of your soul!

I am a “Born Again Christian” in the Catholic Church. I follow Jesus in the fulliness of His teachings. I do not follow any false teachings from any counterfeit groups. If you want to follow Jesus than do it!

His church is 2,000 years old! Do not let Satan continue to deceive you!

John 6 wasn’t a sermon. :nope: It was a commandment from Jesus! Catholics eat the “Host”, the consecrated bread. Host comes from the Latin word hostia, which means ‘victim’. Catholics know that Jesus Christ is really present in the consecrated bread and wine offered on our altars. The Mass is a re-presentation of the sacrificial death suffered by Jesus on the cross. We are transported back to the cross as he dies, once, for all of our sins!

Jesus is the victim of the sacrifice and we call the bread the host/victim to signify that we know it is no longer bread but had bacame the RealPhysical Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. We eat it to gain the strength to help us on the journey to Heaven.

No other faith has the real physical presense of Jesus Christ in their services. All any Protestant groups have is the spiritual presence of Christ that he promised when two or more gathered in His name. .

Jesus comes and remains in Catholics. He said so Himself: "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. John 6: 53-59

How great is Jesus? Praise His Holy Name! He will raise us up on the last day!

God Bless**

caution! for many who are ignorant of the Church Jesus established, that statement is false and can be very hurtful. i don’t think it represents the view of the Catholic Church at all.

**Hi Johnny, :wave;
The turth sometimes if painful. I say that with love for all people who are not following Christ yet foolishly think they are. What a shame. To know of Jesus, but to be unable to actually know Jesus fully as the Catholics can.
What I said actually represents my personal view, and some other real Catholics. ** **Click on: View of the Catholic Church! **

**You cannot be going against something and be following it at the same time. You could not call a prostitute a chaste woman could you? Then how can you call someone who is “protesting” against the only Christian (Catholic) church a Christian? They teach false teachings. They have erronious doctrines and dogmas. They modify, eliminate and distort the words of Christ to prove that their group, out of the 61,000 other counterfeit groups, is the correct group to take over from Christ’s real church which has been professing nothing but the truth for over 2,000 years! The catholic church has the authority of Christ no other chuch can rightfully claim that without being liars! It is that simple! **
catholic.com/library/Salvation_Outside_the_Church.asp

** Johnny, Of course there is salvation outside the Catholic church.👍 God does what He can with what He is given to work with by us human beings and our “free will”. Protestants do bring people to Christ they just aren’t being taught the truth. If they were, they would become Catholics!

John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name. We tried to stop him, because he wasn’t a follower like us.” - Mark 9:38

John answered and said, "Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us. But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you.” Luke 9:49-50

All that is well and good except like it says in Luke 9:50 If he is not against you he is for you!
Protestants ‘are’ against Jesus Christ’s one holy catholic and apolostic church. For that, and that alone, they may become condemned! Not by good works alone are we saved! We must be real followers of Christ!

Hold on a sec. So you’re saying it’s possible for Catholicism to be misrepresented on the internet? What is this world coming to! freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-shocked034.gif

(Sorry, jd, I couldn’t resist. ;))

Hi peterJ, 👋

Yes it often is, most times by Protestants. But sometimes by ignorant and poorly informed Catholics 😊 and bleeding heart liberals who deep in their heart do not believe in the truths of the Catholic Church or the teaching of Christ Himself!

And then we have the nuts! 😃

God Bless! **

Thanks for the link, Realcatholicgk. I was a bit skeptical of your claim before, but now that you have dailymail.co.uk backing you up … well, that really showed me, didn’t it? 😊

I take no offense to someone that feels strong in their beliefs; we can always word things differently, but Real doesn’t seem to “sugar coat” anything. The Church did, does and doesn’t teach salvation outside of the Church. Council of Trent and other places. There seems to be a change in the tone since Vatican II; that is why I phrased it that way. Doesn’t really matter until the end of this life as to what one believes or doesn’t believe unless they care about their souls. I put my faith wholly in Christ; I am safe in the arms of God.

The Catholic Church has always understood that Jesus founded one church, and that all who are members of Christ are members of that One Church. Tthe teaching that there is no salvation outside the Church has been constant. This is because there is no salvation outside of Christ, and He is not separated from His Body. What has changed is the perception of “church”. After the Reformation, there were spawned a great plethora of “separated” brothers and sisters, who had come to the knowledge of Christ’s saving grace, but did not know that they were separated from the ONe Church.

You are right. This is not Catholic, and it is hurtful. It misrepresnts the Church founded by Jesus, and adds division and wounds to HIs Body. 😦
Quite right.

I would cancel my subscription to the Daily Mail immediately, if it weren’t for the fact that I don’t have one.

Oh glorious apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered thy beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded thee of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (mention your request), and that I may bless God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise thee, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor thee as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to thee. Amen

Realcatholicgk;4840727:
You are clueless as to what Protestants act, do or believe; part of your lack of humility, arrogance, pride and misunderstanding. You are a lousy representative for the Catholic faith, from an outside perspective. You know the saying, no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care. There is no doubt that you do not represent Christ; for no representative of Christ could act this way and upon reviewing your other posts, this is more of a game and hobby for you. I really hope you change your unbelief for your own sake.
There are many Protestant friends of mine who despise the Catholic teachings and label Catholics all sorts of unkind things. Do not look at the messenger, but the message. That said, pride is a sin, for all who are proud, regardless of denimination.
