Catholic schools around the country, both upper and lower school teach evolution with God as its beginning both in science class and in theology. After 12 years of Catholic school, plus church, plus my parents teachings nothing I learned in college was going to have any affect on my beliefs. Maybe parents should do a better jobs of raising their children long before they go off to college. So, if a student notices a bias or false/philosophical conclusions coming from their science teacher, how does critical thinking turn into action?
There are about a million parents homeschooling their kids. Look it up if you don’t believe me. Obviously, they do not trust the system anymore.
- Do nothing. It’s just for your personal use.
- Politely confront the instructor and point out the problems?
- Tell all the students in class that he has been telling them biased/inaccurate/incomplete information. No need to bother the instructor.
- Present your case to the proper school administrator?
Peace,
