If a women wants an abortion no one will stop her, not even the law! She will then go to back door doctors…Remember those days? dark rooms and dirty coat hangers…
This law will change nothing and will be over turned once women have died from dirty so called doctors.
Very simple, if you dont want an abortion, dont get one…
How about this… to stop coat hanger and back-street abortions, you seem so worried about–50 years to life for any woman (and her sleazy doctor-or anyone else who helps her) if we have stricter laws and punishments and enforce them, maybe that might work. 👍
Better yet if you are to young or unable to raise a baby don’t engage in pre-martial sex or married couples practice NFP, if you are unable to have another child at this time. Unfortunately this is to simple for the “educated” mind to understand.

Very simple, if you don’t want to go to jail, don’t get one;)

Aleii: I doubt that a medical professional would purposely use a term so laden with stigma unless they had an adgenda. At least not with the patient. So I quote my thought again below. But once again…what exactly does this have to do with women murdering their children? We are talking about abortion here, not miscarriages. Why are you going on and on about miscarriages, unless you too are trying to distract from the real issue?
I am not sure how to make my point clearer. You posted an accusation against healthcare professionals, and continued to state that accusation. I thought I’d only need to make one post about it to clear things up. Me being a nurse, I am going to respond when someone accuses me and my coworkers of doing something agenda laden. Note where I wrote in my last post “sorry for the derail OP!”? I am responding to nothing else except your misconception, and I take offense that you think that me trying to defend my profession means that I am trying to divert away from the op’s topic (oh wait, that’s right, I’ve got an agenda I need to carry through  ). Seekerz and I have given you reasons why these terms are used, and asked you not to prejudge health care professionals, yet you did not respond to those reasons and continue to say again and again that there is an agenda.

Again, I’ll close by saying: give people the benefit of the doubt, and be open to the possibility that your accusation just might be incorrect. Saying that one of us would deliberately go to newly grieving parents and try to press our political views on them is against everything that we stand for and is highly insulting.

If you would like to create a new topic on healthcare, that’s fine and I can elaborate even more there; I won’t post on this thread anymore regarding defending my profession from your accusation, as I feel I have said the main points I need to.
