Protestant level in Heaven

we must not know the same Protestants. The ones I know, work with, and am related to consider themselves obliged, as Christians as having a duty toward God to pray, to do good works and to keep the Lord’s day holy, and to worship together. They do not consider that this merits their salvation. Neither do Catholics. Neither are they concerned with measuring like jealous children “how much” glory they will get as compared to others.

Yes at the end of my live i will have merited more glory in
Heaven than someone who did absolutely nothing for Jesus
excepted say the sinner’s prayer when they were 12.

John 14:2, “In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?”
John 14:12, “Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.”

I hate to tell you this but the saints always did extra little
things merit more glory in Heaven, when you get to Heaven you
are going to say you could have done more.
 
Don’t you people know anything, why do you look to the bible for the answers. I found the answer on the Simpson’s.
It is not different levels of heaven, it is different clouds.

It’s not levels, there are separate heavens for Catholics and Protestants. It was all explained on the Simpsons:

Because I used to be under the false impression that drinking was not a sin.

Ironically, that night on Bourbon Street cured me of that vice.

That was 2-1/2 years ago, and I’ve had only one drink since then. That drink will probably be my last.

The night we went was a very mild night and the couple didn’t seem to be under any undo stress. It’s sad to hear about how others treat them.

This is the sort of thread that will make any interested Protestants turn away. And precisely why the term “Protestant” should be banned.
Pentecostals typically attend 3 meetings a week, one of which is for Bible study and prayer, their Sunday services have a section for communal unscripted prayer. They encourage good works, in some cases their demands are stricter than the Catholic Church.

A man arrived at the gates of Heaven.

The man said, “Methodist.”

I wasn’t aware there were different levels of heaven. Don’t you think it is presumptuous to think that only Catholics will be on the upper levels? And where does it say there are different levels?

I have a feeling it is the product of
a) Works can not help us achieve Salvation
b) Jesus judges us all by our works, as he repeatedly says in the Gospels.

The only way to reconcile these two “laws” is to create multiple rewards.
 
Levels of Heaven can be found in II Corinthians 12: 1-7, especially verse 2 and verse 4.

Interestingly, this is in a passage admonishing us not to boast!
 
My husband was raised Assemblies of God.

He heard a sermon once about the II Corinthians 12 passage and the three levels of heaven.

The first level is the atmosphere, the second is outer space, and the third is “beyond space.”

My husband can’t remember if he offered any proofs.

The point is, Protestants do teach about levels of heaven because it’s in the Bible.

I think that we need to submit to God’s will and allow HIM to build our mansion for us in whatever neighborhood He wants.

BTW, I LOVE that Simpson’s clip! That whole episode is my favorite episode ever of the Simpson’s. Very Catholic-friendly. Actually, ecumenical. But I’m not surprised. Of all the TV shows, the Simpsons is the ONLY show on TV to show many families consistently attending church, and the only show where the main character (Homer) enjoys frequent talks with God. There is a book out called "The Gospel According to the Simpson’s that is excellent.

I was raised in the Assemblies of God (not literally I hasten to add) and never heard anything about levels of heaven - ever.
What you’re describing sounds more like the Mormons.

You know something? The complete ignorance, bias (bigotry by another less shameful name), provocation, lack of any sense, and the obvious wish for an obvious outcome implied by this so-called question are so profound, that I am not sure why anyone is dealing with this question cum observation cum opinion cum … (fill in the gap).

We know a lot about Bourbon St. but that was not worth spending time on. Where are our brains at here?

Jesus admonished the Aposltes for asking similar questions.

Mar 9:34 And they were silent, for they argued with one another in the way as to who was greater.

Mar 9:35 And sitting, He called the Twelve and said to them, If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.

Mat 18:1 In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greater in the kingdom of Heaven?

Mat 18:3 And He said, Truly I say to you, Unless you convert and become as the little children, not at all can you enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

Mat 23:12 And whoever will exalt himself shall be humbled, and whoever will humble himself shall be exalted.

There ARE NO HUMANISTIC levels of importance or hierachy in Heaven. It is a spiritual plain

Either you make it in or you Dont!

You can start by serving your fellow man in any way you can. Thats what its all about.
