FYI the correct exegesis of Rev 12:1-6 finds that the woman represents Israel, not Mary. Unfortunately the RC folks on this forum are blinded to the truth.
Who’s exegesis, who do they say the child and dragon are?
I’m sorry you’ve been lied to. I pray the Lord lifts the scales from your eyes so you can see the truth of the scriptures and be born again, before it’s too late.
JL: Lied to by whom, can you name some of those lies?
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This is my last post.
JL: Yes the scriptures are very clear on how one is born again by water and of the Spirit,
[Jn3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.]
[Acts2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.]
Paul didn’t receive the Holy Spirit when he had his conversion experience and believed.
He wasn’t sanctified at that moment. He didn’t receive the Holy Spirit till three days later.
[Acts9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, And be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, And arose, and Was Baptized.]
Three days later Ananias laid hands on Paul and he received his sight. Immediately Paul received his sight. Then Paul arose to be baptized, to wash away and remit his sins, and receive the Holy Spirit. Three days after his conversion. Being Born Again by water And of the Spirit, as Christ tells us in Jn3:5. As Peter tells us in Acts2:38 repent, be baptized For remission of sins, Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
[Eph5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the Washing of Water by the Word,]
