Can you reference just one secular news article? All I have been able to find so far are claims that secular news media wrote their eyewitness reports.IAs I recall there were secular reporters there who wrote it up for the media.
You probably have to consult the archives of the Lisbon papers. [Do brush up your Portugese.]Can you reference just one secular news article? All I have been able to find so far are claims that secular news media wrote their eyewitness reports.

Sometimes Websites offer an English translation.
Pardon me for just a moment…October 13, 1917(1)
Here are briefly the facts; starting from the day after the events, by a reporter who cannotpossibly be accused of partiality in this matter and for a good reason! We refer to Avelino deAlmeida, the chief editor of “O Seculo,” the large “liberal” anticlerical and masonic daily ofLisbon. He writes, …
That was the quote from the link - not me. Therefore I am not the one to ask.Pardon me for just a moment…
How do you know, almost a century later, that this was a liberal paper and couldn’t possibly be a Catholic publication or at least have Catholics controlling the content?
Too bad. I’ve been reading a lot of Portugueses history and was setting you up.That was the quote from the link - not me. Therefore I am not the one to ask.![]()
I am not that squashable.Too bad. I’ve been reading a lot of Portugueses history and was setting you up.
There are Websites that explain that o Seculo is positively a liberal secular publication. But their evidence is blatantly false.
I expected you to come back with an obvious error to support the claim.
After which I would have squashed you like a bug.![]()
I’d like to see that actaul Talmud page. Because from what I know, the Talmud in that instance is saying that if one is living in a center of learning, a Torah Center, he should not leave that place to go to Israel. It is generally acceptred that this Talmud portion was written about the time of the beginnings of the diaspora. It also says that one should not leave Israel to go to other lands. This is quite a different interpetation than the one you are offering.zionsim has nothing to do with the land of israel. the talmud explains that jews have been foresworn, by three strong oaths, not to ascend to the Holy Land as a group using force, not to rebel against the governments of countries in which they live, and not by their sins, to prolong the coming of moshiach; as is written in Tractate Kesubos 111a.
the true jews don’t live in israel.
I like a challenge.I am not that squashable.
Because He keeps them from being tricked by the devil in for of an apparition.here is a link if you don’t know anything about it. ewtn.com/fatima/
i would love to know the protestant view on this and why God gave Catholics such a great miracle that hasn’t been done for protestants…
“A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign” quote by Jesus. We don’t need one to validate our faith. “The best you get is…” Well, I would say that healing miraculously and God helping you pay the bills is quite extraordinary and all I need to know that God is real.i’m wondering why they never had a miracle, witnessed by thousands of people including freemasons and atheists, to confirm to their religion.
the best you get is the ones that hit you with their palm of the forehead and tell you that you’re not a cripple anymore, or the ones that send out washclothes you put over your bills so God will bless your bills and you’ll get money to pay those bills.
it’s late. i’m going to bed.
Nah … it’s because your eyes are closed.Because He keeps them from being tricked by the devil in for of an apparition.
Cute line but one would best not be flippant about sacred things. Note Matthew 12:22-35Because He keeps them from being tricked by the devil in for of an apparition.
Then a blind and dumb demoniac was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the dumb man spoke and saw. 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, “Can this be the Son of David?” 24* But when the Pharisees heard it they said, “It is only by Be-elzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.” 25 Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand; 26 and if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Be-elzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house. 30* He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. 31* Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 And whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. 33* “Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers! how can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. 36 I tell you, on the day of judgment men will render account for every careless word they utter; 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Nope.We have to remember that Portugal was the first country to install a Soviet government.
