:nope: pure blindnessIt’s a logical fallacy to you because you are unsure of your religion. Hence you are not Catholic, but I pray that you become one, just as Jesus wanted.

It’s a logical fallacy because it is definitionally a logical fallacy. It has nothing whatsoever to do with my religion. You could look it up.It’s a logical fallacy to you because you are unsure of your religion. Hence you are not Catholic, but I pray that you become one, just as Jesus wanted.
There is a substantial argument that Jesus wanted to reform Judaism, not start a new religion. I wouldn’t argue that point one way or the other, but I recognize that the point has some academic merit. It’s a logical fallacy to you because you are unsure of your religion. And then again very smart, well educated people are right here at CAF, yet you refuse to believe anything they say. There is a substantial argument that Jesus wanted to reform Judaism, not start a new religion. The point is that very smart, well educated people disagree with your ideas. That, at the very least, gives room for discussion and maybe even a change in belief. It’s the way reason works.
The Muslims say similar things but it doesn’t make it true. And then again very smart, well educated people are right here at CAF, yet you refuse to believe anything they say.
Jesus Christ started the Catholic faith. It is Scriptural, it is fact. That’s it. As soon as you see this, the better off you’ll be.
What are you basing your truth on?I know self-teaching and such is foreign to those who have their thinking done for them, but I dont hate anyone…I am just telling the Truth.
No, Muslims do not say Jesus is their God, only I say it because it is true. Islam is not a religion from Jesus Christ. The Muslims say similar things but it doesn’t make it true.
I doubt you really want to know…did that self-ego stroke make you feel better? What are you basing your truth on?
Is it based on your “traditions”, you know all the anti-Catholic literature you’ve obviously read over the years thinking it was scholarly and infallible (LOL), or is it really based on your lack of understanding of Catholic theology?
I’m sorry…what is that?..your saying your truth is based on what?..oh,…I see…the Bible.
Well, I guess I’ll get down to the heart of the matter then.
How do you know the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the sole rule of faith? Please show me those biblical verses.
And forget about starting with 2 Timothy 3:16, that verse says Scripture is profitable, not that it is the sole rule of faith.
…awaiting to see what you based YOUR truth on.
I carefully said “similar things”. I really want to be correct here. Muslims say that their religion is from Allah, who is the God of Abraham just like the Christian God. They claim that what they believe is true and lots of very smart well educated Muslims believe that 100%, just like Catholics believe what they believe. No difference there. No, Muslims do not say Jesus is their God, only I say it because it is true. Islam is not a religion from Jesus Christ.
I doubt you really want to know…did that self-ego stroke make you feel better?
While your statement has a grain of truth to it…you need to “clarify it”… I’ll do that for you: You are treated very nicely and cordially on this forum. You have absolutely no room to complain. Being that it is a Catholic forum…and you are permitted to log on and post and not get banned…is proof alone.Lets just say that not all are treated equally on this forum.
we are going off topic but, Catholics do not believe Jesus started a new religion. we see Christianity as an extension of Judaism. There is a substantial argument that Jesus wanted to reform Judaism, not start a new religion. I wouldn’t argue that point one way or the other, but I recognize that the point has some academic merit.

See, that’s just it… you can be shown over and over and over again that the Scriptures DO IN FACT support it, but you will still say they do not because your hierarchy says they don’t. THAT is MOST ILLOGICAL.See, thats just it…you can be shown over and over that the Scriptures DO NOT support it, but you will still say they do because your hierarchy says they do. THAT is illogical.
Perhaps…but one would think a violation is a violation no matter who commits it…or is that too much to ask? While your statement has a grain of truth to it…you need to “clarify it”… I’ll do that for you: You are treated very nicely and cordially on this forum. There are any number of “non-Catholic” forums which actually are more appropriately should be considered “anti-Catholic” forums, where if a Catholic logs on…they are attacked repeatedly and not in a “very Christian-like” manner. Perhaps you should spend time explaining to the denizens of those forums why they should treat others (Catholics) as they do their own?
According to you, but I would dispute that claim…A) it usually the other way around in terms of harsh words being initiated.
You might wish to keep that in mind…B) wrong is wrong and BOTH sides should be equally sanctioned.
There is no “perhaps” about it. Though a violation is a violation, is a violation…ad nauseum, … what I find a “tad” disingenuous is you trying to play “victim”. You, if I remember correctly have claimed to be a “former-Catholic”…and having left the Catholic Church and Faith…now claim to be a man of the cloth…and a “persecuted non-Catholic”… Wow, that’s a “mouthful”…Perhaps…but one would think a violation is a violation no matter who commits it…or is that too much to ask?
“coach”… I’m waiting for your answer… or were you just engaging in “free use of hyperbole”?There is no “perhaps” about it. Pray tell…exactly WHOM is “persecuting” you? Spare the scatological vagaries…lets have some real down home proofs, ok?
