Do you believe in original sin?Show me a verse where it was not believe or repent (or teach in the Great Commission) first and then baptize. That is the reason we do not support it. It always has the believe or repent part first. The baptism comes after the believing.
So you say that parents have no say in how to raise their children in faith and morals? Through them out there in life and say your on your own as far as christ is concernedShow me a verse where it was not believe or repent (or teach in the Great Commission) first and then baptize. How do you you know, since you have the Church you must know. As I have said at least a dozen times I will use your scripture, cause they do not mean just for the CC or for Paul. They are for all believers.Yet, again, you avoid helping me in my journey. How am I to know which interpretations are correct and which are incorrect? Please provide me with those scriptures.
Is this how we’re supposed to share what we know about Christ? Is that following the command to teach them all things? How do you you know, since you have the Church you must know. great My point to Prod. He only points out scripture and then says they are only for certain people, church leaders. Not so!My point was you seem to like to point out the things Jesus says only to His disciples and then say it’s not for anyone but church leaders in the line of the disciples. Paul wrote 1 Cor 11 knowing what Jesus told the disciples was most often to all of us on one level or another.
Like I said you claim to have the infallibe CC that tells you what to believe so you should be ok in what you believe. I do not accept what you preach. The infallibe Holy Spirit did not interpert them in that way to me a many many others. Is this how we’re supposed to share what we know about Christ? The question wasn’t about scriptures, it’s about interpretations. Here I’ll post it again so you can help me out.
How am I to know which interpretations are correct and which are incorrect?
Dittome too
But we know the breaking of the bread was intended for everyone, because scriptures tells us of the Apostles teaching that it was for everyone. But, that how I read in context. Since you like to insinuate that I am wrong, please tell me how to know who out there has the correct interpretation? How can I stop trusting my and the Catholic Church’s interpretation and trust your interpretation tweetymom?great My point to Prod. So if a person asks you for a truth about Christ, you can reject teaching them the correct way?Like I said you claim to have the infallibe CC that tells you what to believe so you should be ok in what you believe. I read the chhapter and nowhere does it say Catholic.Read 1 Corinthian chapter 11 for starters. If you want more references, I’ll be glad to provide them.
Pray, think, reflect, be intelligent, consult elders and ministers. Stay steady on the core; don’t sweat the smaller stuff. Is this how we’re supposed to share what we know about Christ? Is that following the command to teach them all things?

If you believe in what you are taught then that is the way you should go, and never depart from you belief. I trust the Holy Spirits interpertation and my Bible study and that is the way I am going and not depart. So there is nothing that I can show you and visa versa that will ever make me depart from my teaching. I know what God has done in and for my life. God Bless you as you contonue on the road you choose. But we know the breaking of the bread was intended for everyone, because scriptures tells us of the Apostles teaching that it was for everyone. So, even though you are right and say I am wrong, you are advising me to stay on my current path? Why would you spend so much engergy to tell someone they are wrong and not tell them what is correct? If you believe in what you are taught then that is the way you should go, and never depart from you belief. I never said you were wrong and I was right, that is for God to decide, don’t you think. If you FEEL in your heart and do not have a shadow of doubt then brother go for it. In my heart I feel that what I believe is right for my soul and until I die or meet Jesus when He comes back that is what I am going with.Just like you should do. You will never convince me or the rest of the world that scripture was only meant for a select few. So may God Bless you richly. So, even though you are right and say I am wrong, you are advising me to stay on my current path?
She is being inclusionary, whereas you are being exclusionary. Her pov allows the equal validity of your approach to faith; yours does not do the same to others. She needs make no effort to proselytize to you when all she is doing is defending the validity of her own faith. So, even though you are right and say I am wrong, you are advising me to stay on my current path? So, then it doesn’t matter what anyone believes? She is being inclusionary, whereas you are being exclusionary. Well, maybe not specifically, but you have more than implied that I was wrong and you were on the right path. Now, it seems you’re saying it doesn’t matter what I believe. Can I just pick any denomination out there and be garaunteed salvation?I never said you were wrong and I was right, that is for God to decide, don’t you think. There you go, swinging to the other extreme again. Why would you respond with the conclusion, “Then no standards apply”? You are proving to be an absolutist, which is a form of intellectual and religious extremism. So, then it doesn’t matter what anyone believes?
