Both parties are rotten to the core. Worse, yet they’re filled with Free Masons. I was a GOP Precinct Committee Person, believe me, the GOP was never good.
I think the problem goes much deeper than acceptance of or allegiance to Church leadership. That is the least of our problems. More fundamentally it is a failure to love. This might be the time of the purification of Christ church where many cannot accept what the magistrates say.
Death penaty thread here. I didn’t mean to derail the thread- Sorry!Continuing the discussion from Purification of the Catholic Church?: Continuing the discussion from Purification of the Catholic Church?: @twf I didn’t want to derail that thread… Here’s what the CCC says 2267 Assuming that the guilty party’s identity and responsibility have been fully determined, the traditional teaching of the Church does not exclude recourse to the death penalty, if this is the only possible way of effectively defending human lives against the unjust aggressor. And Aqui…
I don’t think this is a true statement at all. I’m a Catholic Republican (Catholic first) and I strongly feel this mess needs to be fixed ASAP.Many Republican Catholics will accept the Church’s stance on abortion, but will gladly condone children being separated from their parents.
Boy is that a straw dog! Should get the “Irrelevant Post of the Month Award.” Doubt you have any idea what Rand’s economics is based in.Over the last 8-10 years or so, many seem to have become devotees of the atheist Ayn Rand and her style of economics.
Amen sister… follow your conscience!Believe you mean you well but im not going to be subservient to whatever some bishop says because i am a child of god and he gave me a voice. I know i dont give up on myself. God gave me my own mind. I succomb to the rights of my lord. Im not under mind control like the feeble minds of a fallen bishop. Amen
Agree Christ’s teaching was often hard and challenging, but not sure the scripture you chose illustrates your topic very well. The passage, in context, talks about Our Lord’s real and substantial presence in the Eucharist:This might be the time of the purification of Christ church where many cannot accept what the magistrate’s say.
It reminds me of when many left being followers of Christ because his teachings were too hard.
St. John 6:66
John 6: 52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” …
66 Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him.
Yes, it reminded me of this incident of hard teaching. Of course its not exactly the same.Agree Christ’s teaching was often hard and challenging, but not sure the scripture you chose illustrates your topic very well. He’s not the only one. I posted last week that evangelical leaders are objecting to this.Looks like some Evangelical leaders are also saying the same thing as our US Bishops and Cardinals. God is speaking!!
White House says separating migrant families is “biblical.” Prominent Christians disagree. - Vox
Franklin Graham, the son of the late evangelical preacher Billy Graham and an outspoken supporter of the Trump administration, sharply criticized the administration’s actions, telling the Christian Broadcasting Network on Thursday, “It’s disgraceful, and it’s terrible to see families ripped apart and I don’t support that one bit.”
Nobody know the day or hour of Christ second coming! Where’s this End Time Revelation you know about?Wow… You need to brush up on your End Times Prophecy! You’re not even close.
I agree to this to some extent about the Dems. The Democrats in Congress DO NOT have a moral high ground on this issue, and neither does the media.
Are they willing to House and feed these huddled masses? Sounds like virtue signaling to me. I haven’t heard of them presenting any solutions…Our Bishop, etc… though do have moral authority. And we should listen.
I never said anything about end times. I’ll look into that book though. ThanksYou’re the one making the Apocalyptic Claims!
Here, read this. It’s Approved Prophecy.
