Ok denver faithful, just how faithful are you to your own religion. Is this statement true or false?

as a non-Catholics, you can’t undertand the devotions. This is the reason we can’t just say YES or NO.

The Church DOES NOT TEACH THIS OFFICIALLY.Did you catch that? You will NOT find this statement in ANYdocument that contains the official teaching of the RCC. If someone is just wearing it superstitiously for “fire insurance” it’s not doing to do them a bit of good. Just like someone who repeats the “Sinner’s Prayer” after the pastor during an altar call, and walks away thinking that’s all there is to getting saved, it’s NOT going to keep them out of Hell.

Some falsely believe that wearing the Brown Scapular offers some sort of guarantee of salvation because of the legendary words attributed to Our Lady. This is against Church teaching, is superstitious and a grave error.

you are absolutely right when you said it is not even a lot of truth…You cut and paste only one sentence out of the entire meaning of this devotion. 😉

BTW, I am wearing a Brown Scapular myself.

Of course it’s false. Your precious RCC is propagating this stuff. When I left the RCC, my own relatives sent me a scapular to wear. If you believe that statement as many Catholics do, you’re believing a lie.
 
We should be grateful for Believers. I know I personally am. He, like the Mormons who come by now and again, gives us through his cherrypicking of Bible verses, a perfect example of knuckleheaded religion at work. We couldn’t ask for a better demonstration!
