Moses was given “thou shall not kill”
Not thou shall not kill except when…
I bet to differ. The command is “thou shalt not
MURDER.”
Killing is allowed in some cases. Proof:
Leviticus 24:16 anyone who blasphemes the name of the LORD
must be put to death. The entire assembly must
stone him. Whether an alien or native-born, when he blasphemes the Name,
he must be put to death.
Numbers 35:17 Or if anyone has a stone in his hand that could kill, and he strikes someone so that he dies, he is a murderer;
the murderer shall be put to death.
The quran is clearly against Gods wish. God would not change his mind.
Actually, according to Christians, God did “change his mind” and the law changed a lot–like polygamy was allowed then it wasn’t, shellfish was prohibited then allowed, circumcision wasn’t commanded but then it was, people didn’t have to accept Jesus and now they do. Lots of changes.
You tapped around the answer. I know what other texts say, if the quran is as perfect as you say why does it contradict Gods will?“thou shall not kill”
Please, I beg you. Consult your Bible, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and see how many times the Israelites are commanded to kill.
As for God protecting his “book”. This sounds like the Christian argument.
?
If the book was so protected why would Aisha’s goat have eaten some?
I didn’t know Aisha had a goat. hehe. Never heard this story. Anyway, the original mushaf wasn’t stored with Aisha anyway, it was with Hafsah. The Qur’an has been preserved–I’m not talking about the pages of a book, but the words. The Qur’an was memorized by the Companions of Muhammad, and it was written down. People still memorize it today, word for word, exactly the same way they did then. When people wrote it down, though, they would write pieces of it on anything they could find.
Why have there been errors in text and those texts burned if they were so protected?
What was burned was the materials that had portions of the Qur’an. It wasn’t that they had errors, but when the first book version was made and distributed, all other written forms were destroyed so people wouldn’t be confused or read something that was mistaken. The preservation is in the memories, though, which aren’t burned.
The worship of Muhammad is very rampant in Islam.
In fact, if Muslims worshiped Muhammad then they would be damned to hell according to the Qur’an, for commiting the worst sin ever.
Why do they kill / get angry over images of Muhamad but not Jesus or Moses?
Did you know that there are pictures of Muhammad in the airport in Tehran?

See people killing or getting angry over that? Of course not. What is so upsetting are the
insulting images. And Muslims are just as upset about disrespect being shown to Moses or Jesus. It just tends to not make news.
