Question for those Christians who are being taught by the Holy Spirit

You seem to believe that the Roman Catholic Church is the one true church. You then seem to believe that it can teach any doctrine it wants.

I say that no one or no origination has the right to teach any version of the Good News other than what Jesus taught.

I believe that the written Word of God is truly God’s Word. I believe we all will be judged by how we lived God’s Word. I also believe man, on the whole, stopped listening to the Holy Spirit. Man is now following man and his teachings.

It is a shame that an origination such as the Catholic Church, with a history of manipulation by so many ungodly men, can still believe it is the church that Jesus founded. When it’s members today are presented with proof that it’s teachings are not in line with God’s Words the proofs are ignored. If not ignored watered down, said the words were not meant for us, or hyperbole.

Jesus told us we didn’t need man to teach us, because we all have had been given the Holy Spirit to teach us. Man tells us we can
‘t trust the Holy Spirit. Of course man will say that if he wants control.

Welcome here as your fairly new. The search for truth is the most important thing we can do in life. i admire your obvious desire to know the truth by coming here and speaking.

I reread your post and my reply was appropriate and relevant. You are completely wrong in all your conclusions as you state them here. What I ask you to read explains this to a degree. If you are a christian then you are to search for truth. I am simply offering you truth. If you can read and refute what is there or any catholic teaching please do so. All objections to the catholic church and faith are caused by ignorance, misunderstanding and prejudice. If you feel I’m in the wrong church then join me in a debate and we’ll both search for truth. If you win I’ll join the true church we discover. Sometimes an evil spirit can guide us too you know. Do you accept the challenge?

I have always believed in angels. My wife, who just died without warning this last Christmas, once had a very personal encounter with one of God’s angels. I have had angels pick up my car to keep me from an accident.

I don’t believe that I would ever let an angel teach me anything about God. No matter who tells me anything about God I will ask Jesus if it is right or wrong.

First I am not a fundamentalist, nor am I a protestant. My problem with Constantine the Great is; he persuaded the Church that it was OK for Christians to kill. Once the Church stopped following the Holy Spirit it stopped being the true church of God.
