Independence Day.
It comes up so fast. If a person is so inclined to take an objective look at the historical
context and what actually transpired in every facet of society in the industrialized West;
especially over the last 150 years in very specific respects — then the person
would see through the immense fog, that crept in slowly over the decades;
almost imperceptibly so — and so much freedom in our land has been legislated
and adjudicated away — blatantly contrary to the Founding Father’s idea
of The Laws of Nature and The God of Nature. Some people think it happened by accident. Well, God definitely allowed it; as the Holy Bible say to test us.
There are certain public figures I really don’t prefer; and I do not get into those
discussions - especially with the polemics and demonizing done for a certain agenda;
but I do hope the signs of hope happening now are not just a blip in history;
of the propaganda war of attrition that has been going on for close to 100 years.
No, there is no one group or person in charge of a conspiracy. But so many elitists
have given themselves over to ideologies that claim to be Utopian; while
taking away fundamental freedoms; and suppressing and oppressing certain
inalienable rights. The propaganda developed so well, like advertising improved
in a consumerist society with honed behavior science — even well meaning intelligent people do not recognize that if enough of ‘We The People,’ would consistently form coalitions and the provisions in the Constitution we could permantly
counter what has taken place.
“It is a characteristic of any decaying civilization that the great masses of the people are unconscious of the tragedy. Humanity in a crisis is generally insensitive to the gravity of the times in which it lives. Men do not want to believe their own times are wicked, partly because it involves too much self-accusation and principally because they have no standards outside of themselves by which to measure their times.”
~ Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
