Would you want to go to a doctor who had never attended medical school because “going to medical school isn’t part of what working doctors do, so I didn’t really see it as being very important. I decided to just set up my practice and start working, because that’s what working doctors do.”I’m not sure where you’re getting this? I don’t attend the first half of the year of classes because I have a schedule conflict. As I’ve pointed out repeatedly, I am attending Mass regularly (as well as Adoration, which I hadn’t mentioned previously). RCIA is not an intrinsic part of practicing the faith, so I don’t feel that by missing it I’m not being a good Catholic or something. I don’t know what more involvement I could even be doing.
