You are choosing to speculate on the destiny of people you don’t know, and dwell on it in sadness.
That is a choice, not a personal trauma.

If you personally are experiencing pain and trauma in your life then please get help.

I need to find a way to get rid of my sorrow because I feel like prayer isn’t good enough any more !

John are you suffering from depression? If so let me encourage you to ask for help on the ground where you live.
You will not regret it.
When I simply went to visit my physician several years ago I immediately felt some relief by talking matter of factly about depression.

I need spirtual council other doctors and councilors don’t understand most don’t have faith.

I know God exists I just don’t know how to change dramatically for the better.!

Once upon a time, I was obsessing over something that I felt like I ought to be doing, but I wasn’t able to do without stomping all over the wishes of the people I loved most. I was really torn---- did I need to do what I thought was God’s will, even though it meant being hurtful towards others who weren’t on board with that path of action? Or did I need to settle back and be obedient, even at the risk of not doing what I felt I was supposed to do?

The advice I got was “joyful trust.” Basically, you put it in God’s hands. You don’t put it in God’s hands and wander off and ignore everything… but you put it in God’s hands, and trust him to make good come from your efforts.

Go off and do your efforts, whether it’s prayer, or whether it’s action, or whatever.

Your efforts, by themselves, are very small.

Your efforts, with God’s grace, become much larger than you can appreciate in this lifetime.

So do your best, and trust God to make good come from the little that you have to offer.

Even if it’s just a few loaves and fishes, God can feed the multitudes. Likewise, even if it’s just prayers and Masses and small sacrifices— God can change hearts, even if you don’t see the results of your actions yourself. 💙

The reality of life has me too sorrowful for the last three weeks not I just can’t deal with the reality
John, In a past thread you stated you had attended with health care professionals for some issues. Please i pray that you make an appointment and visit them ASAP.
The Kingdom of God is so much more than the issues being raised.
God , the Holy Spirit gives us the gift of Joy.

That is justice. They chose poorly.

We have a choice. As the old man in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade said…

We know that some people are going to Hell. To deny that is universalism, which is heresy. But we don’t know how many are going to Hell. It might be the majority of humanity, but only God knows.

Good observation. A point that is not pondered all that much is that, in heaven (please, God!), we will be enthralled, overjoyed, delighted with every aspect of God. His love, mercy and yes, His justice.

We will be satisfied that souls are in hell because they are examples of God’s perfect justice being applied.

On earth, we think as humans do. In heaven, our souls, our wills, our thoughts will be perfected. Thus, we will have perfect appreciation of God’s mercy as well as His justice.

As Fr. John Hardon, S.J. said:
“If no one is in hell by this date, what must one do to get there?”

I just can’t deal with the reality
You are far from alone in this. Life can suck at the best of times. But I understand well your angst. I’ve been coping with life since 1991 by taking a daily anti-depressant and additional medications for panic attacks.

6,316 people die every day the large majority of these people are going to Hell or purgatory
We don’t know this. All 6,316 could be going to Heaven for all you or I or anyone else knows.

if you’re concerned about people possibly going to Hell, then pray for them.

I agree with thistle, I think you need to seek help. You are getting way too worked up over issues of sin and the possible consequences.

can’t accept the reality of all these people going to hell
If we accept that hell is not a “place” which people go to, but rather a state of mind that rejects God it takes on a different resonance. Hell is absence of God due to the decision that we don’t want to associate with Him. It’s not a place of fire and torture as depicted by medieval artists. It’s a place of loneliness. I agree with the early church teacher, Origen, who stated that all will ultimately come to embrace God, including Satan. No one will be lost.

John, the Lord gives us many ways to change our state in life and attain health.
We are human beings with a body and soul, not just spirit creatures.
Keeping our bodies healthy is part of living the Gospel too, and we are blessed by God to have modern medical practices.

Avail yourself of those blessings, don’t delay. When I sought good medical counsel, it did not completely solve my struggle with depression, but it was an important piece.
After I saw my family doctor, I immediately began to get a handle on things and I wondered why I waited so long to do such a simple thing.

The answer in short is that I have become so desperately sad that I just can’t see the point.

Example it’s like seeing thousands of people get tortured and saving 100 your still going to feel like a failure
So you can only do what you can do. It is good that you are concerned about the salvation of souls, we all should be. Many are not.
We need to remember though that everyone has free will, to choose Jesus or not. The best thing we can do for them is prayer. Sometimes it might seem like we are not doing anything but we are. Then do your best to be an example.
You can also do acts of penance for the salvation of souls.

Our Blessed Mother asked at Fatima that we offer prayers and sacrifices (especially the rosary) for the conversion of sinners and peace in this world.

When you get up in the morning, do your morning offering, uniting yourself with all the Masses being said around the world for this intention. Then, go about what is yours to take care off.

Every day try to find something a little extra to do. Put shopping carts in their place at a store. Open the door for someone. Be sure to say Thank you to people. Focus on what you can do today. Most of all, when you have these thoughts of hell and getting overwhelmed with them, it’s in your power to recognize where your thoughts are, then make the decision to stop it. Instead, lift your thoughts to praising and thanking God. As often as you come back to thinking of hell, make that effort to turn to God. Jesus died on the cross, thank you Lord. Jesus took on flesh to redeem the world, thank you Lord! Jesus is in our midst, bless the Lord! Take control!

I don’t think he said that. The thought of his own salvation is probably part of his concern

desperately sad
This is more worrying than the numbers you referred.

The vision on statistics you gave isn’t correct and you should keep an open mind about rethinking it - because I honestly think you are in error regarding church doctrine on purgatory and salvation. These last two are very complex, and it takes a lot of time to factor in those notions.

The spirit of Christ is one of Joy. And you should rejoice in Christ having saved humanity through His sacrifice.

Both in Scripture and in private revelations, there is hardly ever an account on who gets saved and who doesn’t get saved. That is, so to say, a prerogative of God that God rarely chooses to reveal. Thus, whatever sacrifices you offer for the salvation of souls rejoice in your offering for surely your offering is a cooperation with God’s grace sent to you towards the salvation of souls.
