Yeah, sex education should all just be nothing but “Don’t do it!”

Here’s a fact, whether you like it or not. Kids will have sex. Straight kids will have sex. Gay kids will have sex. That is the way it has been since the dawn of time, and the way it will be far into the future.

Most of the sex ed curricula I’ve ever seen still recommend abstinence as the only 100% foolproof way of not getting pregnant or catching an STD… But, if they’re going to do it, then they should at least no the risks and the means to mitigate it.

Split courts have made all sorts of important decisions. But this does go to demonstrate that people only pound the table when it’s their sacred cow going off to the butcher.

As it is, a gay couple getting married down the road from you causes you no meaningful harm, so this is a pretty trouble-free extension of a liberty.
 
Now that gay couples have what they want in the US, leave kids alone. Leave adults alone.

Such as fornication in the park? Or peeing in the river? Or going naked in Main Street? Those are liberties of free people surely? Principled objections gave rise to laws to forbid each one.

Sex is a basic drive. You can either deny it, and let your kids do foolish things without a clue as to the repercussions, or you can at least arm them with knowledge.

And comparing it to urination doesn’t exactly fill me with any certainty that you want to take the discussion seriously. I understand that sexual education is a controversial thing for some, and most jurisdictions allow parents to keep their kids out of it, so there’s your option.
 
You have your so-called gay “marriage” and preferred pronouns and yet here you are still complaining.

I just think its HILARIOUS that a good chunk of these non-nuclear family type relationships need sooo much defense and support from the government and internet.
 
That was a particularly weak attempt at diversion 😂 The liberty in question was SSM and the fact remains, we may legally reject “liberties” justly, contrary to your claim.

Well, either you’ll have to get a future Supreme Court to revisit it (unlikely) or pass a constitutional amendment (even more unlikely).

So because of a story out of the Old Testament (it’s funny how some Christians reach back before Matthew 1:1 when they need to condemn homosexuality), homosexuals should be persecuted, for their own good of course.
 
Private, long-term homosexual couples living together in the past was not good enough? And now that gays and lesbians have something called marriage in the US, that’s not good enough? Just like before the strange US Supreme Court decision, they walked their dogs, cut the grass, etc. But no. Let’s tell little kids this is no longer private, and it is normative. Let’s tell adults the same thing.

What’s wrong with privacy? I don’t care if the two men I see in a store are a married or unmarried gay couple. It’s none of my business. But don’t shove it in my face. And I’d like to add an observation to derail the “hate” accusation. I don’t go to bars and drink because I’m not a drinker. I don’t go to parties where the air is thick with marijuana smoke and other drugs are being taken, not because I hate people who use that but I refuse to use such. And in social situations, if a total stranger asks my opinion about that “cute guy over there. Isn’t he hot?” I have nothing to say. I have this bad habit of checking out women, but guys? It would never cross my mind.

Do you realize how seriously some nudists take their need to act in this way? I think it’s insulting to these people for you to dismiss their idea of the good life altogether, acting as if the desires of gay people – and I speak as a bisexual man – are dignified and the desires of nudists and the like are not. So tell me: do you deny nudists the right to openly go naked? And if so, how do you justify depriving them of their liberty?
