I am a very hard voter to please. I am against abortion, against same sex marriage, but support same sex civil unions. I understand I will never find a politician who agrees with me, so I shoot for the best.
I do, however, strongly support legalizing marijuana. I have yet to hear an argument as to why it should be illegal which would not also push for alcohol or cigarettes to be illegal as well. Both are more addictive, both are just as bad for your body in the long term, and keeping marijuana illegal just makes it easier for kids to buy. Trust me, drug dealers do not ask for I.d.
Also, you need to quit paying attention to whether or not a politician is pro-life or not. It is irrelevant. What matters is if you actually think they will do anything to stop abortions from occurring. If a politician does not agree with abortion, but does nothing to stop them, he is in practice just like a pro-choice candidate. And, in my opinion, anyone who actually believed mitt Romney would have done anything to stop abortion was deluding themselves greatly.
