Lileli,

All I did was tell you what happened. Why is it nauseating for you to hear about people hurting other from one group, and not anonther? Don’t you find that to be rather hypocritical? :o Even for you? (1st John 3:10)

Since high school, I’ve never seen any harassment due to someone being gay. I’ve seen a TON of Christian bashing. And I’m constantly seeing a HUGE amount of propaganda that portrays Christians in a negative light, and homosexuals in a victim light (everything from Dawson’s Creek to Brokeback Mountain).

I would LOVE it if people like yourself would show the same respect and kindness towards those that you disagree with, but you don’t. Just like Paul, you have blinders on your eyes (Acts 9:18). Nauseating or not, even you should be able to put your emotion aside and look at things logically, but you can’t.

Regardless of all of this, however, I do applaud you for being the Lone Wolf dissenter in this forum. 👍 It makes the discussion more fun.
I don’t think you follow my posts closely. I have shown much kindness and respect to those who have been kind to me. I am all for a vigorous discussion and I apologize if it can seem offensive. Unfortunately, you are not looking very closely if you have never seen any discrimination against homosexuals. I can post data but I don’t know if you are really interested. I am fine with Christians being Christians and I will be the first to defend a Church’s right to discriminate(for lack of a better word) but I will also engage in intellectual debaters with members of my Church. I am very able to put my emotion aside and look at facts but it is hard to look at facts with discussing faith. Alas, I do apologize if you felt offended.

I’m not offended, btw. 🙂 But “looking closely?” I should have to look deeply to find any kind of look, or a possible thought in someone’s mind, but when I and others are purposefully sought out, discriminated against, and humilitated in public, you say that it is nauseating?

I find it nauseating when Christians take the role of the victim(I am a Christian as well). There is literally a video where Christians are coming out as Christian! Christianity is by far the majority in this country and very much has the political power. There are Christians around the world who are truly being persecuted and it is insulting to them and what they have to go through.
