Stephenkumar I don’t mean to be rude and I don’t mean to single-handedly point you out or humiliate you in anyway but receiving Devotional items such as Relics are not about luck or wishes. It is a gift and a grace from God.

God bless,

DEAR MISS GOFORGOAL,

i am sorry if i am rude but let me ask you what you call when god is more gracious to you, you call yourself lucky that god hears you. simillarly relics are god’s grace to us. saints are our brothers and sisters in heaven and anything of them means your are still close to them. so i think by using the word LUCKY, i did not do any injustice to these relics.
thank you

No need to apologize.

It is actually me that should sincerely apologize I read your post incorrectly. :o :o :o

Unfortunately and sadly, there are people who use and sell Devotional items for “good luck”. Below is just an example and this is from an occult shop 😦

luckymojo.com/patronsaints.html

Please do take note, I know and I realize you do not use Devotional items for “good luck” or you mistreat, misuse, or abuse Devotional items at all.

Thank you and God bless you for all that you do Stephenkumar.

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ let us get back to the original message which is promoting the lives of our Heavenly Brothers and Sisters that may not be very well known, appreciated, and loved.

God be with you and God bless,

PRAYER FOR BEATIFICATION OF SERVANT OF GOD DR. ERNESTO COFINO

O God, our Father, source of all good, You granted your son, Ernesto, abundant graces to be a doctor who faithfully serves the life that begins in You and belongs to You alone. Grant that I too may respect and foster the gift of life, and generously fulfill my daily duties, out of love of Jesus Christ and my fellow men and women. Deign to glorify your servant, Ernesto, and through his intercession grant me the favor I ask of You… (Make your request). Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father.

(In conformity with the decrees of Pope Urban VIII, we declare that there is no intention of anticipating in any way the judgement of the Church, and that this prayer is not intended for public use.)

Also does anyone know of any cheap thecas (the little circle container that holds a relic, not the reliquary) and where to buy them?

DEAR BRETHREN,

Please take note that RELICS are not meant to be merely “collected” by anyone. The main purpose of relics is to help us enhance our desire for HOLINESS. It is more probable that one will only ask for the Relic of his/her personal and long-time Patron Saints/Beati.

According to the Directory on Popular Piety and the Liturgy of the Vatican (no. 237);

"The faithful deeply revere the relics of the Saints. An adequate pastoral instruction of the faithful about the use of relics will not overlook:
  1. ensuring the authenticity of the relics exposed for the veneration of the faithful; where doubtful relics have been exposed for the veneration of the faithful, they should be discreetly withdrawn with due pastoral prudence(327);
  2. preventing undue dispersal of relics into small pieces, since such practice is not consonant with due respect for the human body; the liturgical norms stipulate that relics must be “of a sufficient size as make clear that they are parts of the human body”(328);
  3. admonishing the faithful to resist the temptation to form collections of relics; in the past this practise has had some deplorable consequences;
  4. preventing any possibility of fraud, trafficking(329), or superstition."
*The “consequences” stated in the in number 3 can include the sin of sacrilege.

It is my hope that all may be one in venerating and honoring the Saints/Beati and their respective and sacred remains.

Me and my girlfriend ( I am also a woman) found a relic of the true cross and have been using it as a sex toy.

I just wanted to let y’all know that if you ever need help finding contact information regarding different saints or if you want to share contact info with me or talk about different devotion to saints or the Blessed Virgin to please PM or email me. Email would be better. My schedule has freed up so I can spend mor time researching saints and talking with postulators.

God bless!

“To join the contemplative life to activity is to form the most perfect life. Burn brightly and cast light! Two things are meritorious: personal sanctification and zeal for God’s glory.”
Blessed James Alberione, pray for us!

I wanted to share this book with y’all. I heard about it on Catholic Radio today, I believe the Guadalupe Radio Network. It is The Glories of Mary by St. Alphonsus Liguori. It goes through the Hail, Holy Queen with Marian theology and different stories and saint quotes, &c., I’m going to order it this week.

God bless!

thevirginlez- I can’t find where you posted but you asked how the Saints or Relics can help you?

I truly believe that the Saints and candidates for Sainthood are Praying and interceding for everyone.

I and I am sure many who have posted on CAF can attest that the Devotional items that they have joyfully and lovingly received have been a reminder of how to live faithfully and it is also a reminder of God’s works and God’s merciful and unending love for all of us.

thevirginlez and anyone I Pray what I stated helps and if it doesn’t I sincerely apologize as I cannot get my thoughts accurately into words.

AmicusSanctorum- Thank you and God bless you for taking the time to type all this out. I can’t speak for others on here or who happen to come across this particular thread but I do not consider the Devotional items such as Relics a “collection” like one collects sports cards or any other type of trading cards. But, what I have is a Heavenly Treasure.

God bless,
