READ. There are plenty of books, websites, and alternative news sources that will tell you what is happening, what happened, and what it is all about. READ. You are taking time away from that activity that you might benefit from.
Sorry you didn’t read my post. Your reply has nothing to do with what I said. But I’ll indulge you and repeat what I said earlier.

No matter how many silly weblinks you put up, no matter how much proof you have of the violence inherent in Islam–notice that I’ve never disputed this–my truth is in one Book. A book that you apparently need a refresher course on. The Bible, and most importantly, the Gospels. This is our Truth, all your silly weblinks mean nothing to me.

Once again I beg of you: Show me where Jesus has taught what you have attempted to teach here.

Lapell has said that some might of twisted the meaning of the Koran.

So is he saying that Mohammad who was a terrorist, twisted the religion he invented?
ChristopherL, I have a question for you: where have you got that notion that Muhammad himself necessarily was a terrorist? This is very important.
You read it somewhere, or you heard it? Or is it just because you deduce it from the fact that there are many horrific things perpetrated by people who happen to be either Muslim or “Islamists”?
Or because you personally read an English version of the Qur’an? If it’s the latter, which version of the Qur’an did you have?..

Yeah, those could be considered an attack. .
am asking what does attacking Muslim faith mean?

to those joining this thread, it is wiser not to quote what some are doing or saying, and start assessing the ideology of Muhammad. What is his ideology?does it bring peace or does it endanger other’s culture and freedom? is Muhammad’s understanding of peace universal or subjective? is teaching that at the end of time Muslims will annihilate the Jews a possible teaching of peace or a possible massacre? as such, it is always better to assess ideas rather than people.

Check out his website: and check the section “Got Quran?” The link will take you directly to the translations of the Muslim Students Association with the authorized translations by Yusufali, Pickthall, and Shakir

Here are some of the “peaceful” teachings of the Quran taken from the MSA site:

003.028
YUSUFALI: Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.
PICKTHAL: Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security. Allah biddeth you beware (only) of Himself. Unto Allah is the journeying.
SHAKIR: Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

YUSUFALI:
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.”
PICKTHAL: When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger.
SHAKIR: When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.

I’ve read a good bit of the Qur’an and it is quite clear that “unbelievers” does not = all non-Muslims. And “believers” does not = only Muslims. We are all “People of the Book”. These are divided into believers and unbelievers. Note: you have fallen into disbelief if you do not practice what was taught you. As it says in the Qur’an and has been shown on this thread, many Christians are unbelievers.

I reported this,

“I guess you can read the disgust in my post. I find all these ‘moderates’ just as bad as the violent jihadists. All these ‘peaceful’ neighbors that everyone tells me about is just a facade. they know they are outnumbered and what does anyone expect?! When they grow in numbers - infidels better watch it because in the koran it says that doing anything against the infidel is a-ok”
It suffices that many Muslim could wrongly interpret verses of the Qur’an to mean just what you imply it to mean for a real threat to be implemented, wth1257. Even this is scary enough, in my view!

Jesus din’t teach it - mohammed did. What on earth are you talking about?!? What do you think the koran is? Christ’s words?

I don’t have a clue as to what you are refering to. What I have taught here is an attempt to ask people to read the koran, hadiths and islam’s violent history both past and present. To know that what muslims say to us about these things are totally different than what is in these books and their history. to question why so many ‘moderates’ follow a guy like mohammed and will defend these books and mohammed. What is their motive? Question them and not be afraid of their bullying tactics to keep the truth away from all of us.

To learn the alternative definitions of words such as peace, innocent, peace treaty, etc. to learn about jihad and the many tactics that can be used. to learn that mohammed was not a nice guy who started a benign religion when in fact he order his followers to lie, enslave, conquer, kill, beat women, to show no mercy to infidels, etc.

do you need more websites? Since you are not reading them - that might be just futile for me to keep posting them.

I think that you are trying to deflect which is actually a muslim tactic. If you deflect the truth and try to muddy the waters - people will get confused. Nice try.

Or is it just because you deduce it from the fact that there are many horrific things perpetrated by people who happen to be either Muslim or “Islamists”?

conquests were lead by Muhammad’s caliphs…where they defensive or offensive? from Spain to India, where they all attacking Muslims or was it Muslims?
Or because you personally read an English version of the Qur’an? If it’s the latter, which version of the Qur’an did you have?..

being cursed for believing Jesus is the Son of God makes you a believers or a kaffir according to Muhammad?

how many muslim you have seen dear lapell?how many muslim live in canada?once i told you something via PM so don’t want to repeat.but remember i live in bangladesh.i saw many muslims.but believe me u can’t even imagine what is the reall teaching of islam.i know what is nightmare.thank you.
It might also be very slight deviations from the actual teaching of the Qur’an, morning_star777! Taught by actual imams… it can happen! It has happened in Catholicism too, in a way!

are Muslims in here wrong by believin that at the end of times Muslims will annihilate the Jews as per the hadith? i hope, because at any day we can witness a fierce war …and when it breaks up again, i hope i’ll be here to remind everyone what such teachings can lead to…

Christianity and Islam are not only ideas, they are ways of life. And the conduct of one towards another has to be evaluated in light of what they believe.

I find the Qur’an is more about defense than offense… except towards unbelievers. The Qur’an specifically states that not all Christians are unbelievers. Actually, what would make them unbelievers is if they attacked Muslims first.

I believe all the facts on the mainstream media. I just find them to be very limited. I also find that the interpretation that Fox News gives of this facts to be very unsettling, and un-Christian.

As proof that I delve deep into your media, I will say that I agree with Bill O’Reily when he pointed out in his book THE NO SPIN ZONE that George Bush claims Jesus as his greatest political advisor but yet he’s also famous for the record number of people executed by the state while he was governor of Texas. To O’Reily this was blatant hypocrisy because of the fact that Jesus died of the death penalty.

This was before 9/11. Since then, apparently it is okay for us to throw the Bible under the bed and forget about silly notions like WWJD? “What would Jesus do?” is about as silly as the Geneva Conventions. Both quite outdated.

I never said that. I said that it is our actions that should matter to us since this is what we have control over. A simple concept really.

Show me the part of the Gospels where Jesus taught what you have been trying to teach here. Still waiting…
How about checking out

deviation?i don’t think so.we gave many verses from quran those are full of historical and scientific error.and also gave reference many violent verses from quran&all are from pure translated versions of quran.

I have been made victorious through terror”. Bukhari 4:52.220

sometime we ask to imams, but we can understand our mother language very wel.so we don’t need any imam or converted muslim to understand islam.as an ex muslim i know islam very wel from my childhood

You have advocated war as an answer to our problems with Muslims. The devastations of our aggressive war are their fault, according to you. You are teaching people to look at the faults (splinters) of our Muslim brothers while ignoring the fact that Christians everywhere are failing to live as Christ taught (the plank).

As to what you said above? You are right, Jesus didn’t teach these things, Muhammad did. So I tell you again:

All this hatred and anger towards Muslims yet it is clear that your beliefs are taught throughout the Qur’an.

what about the hundreds of ahadith about killing, what about Islamic history right after Muhammad’s death, and who is the authority to say do this and do not do that?

when i hear people on TV sheikhs or Muslims saying “rasulallah said Jews will be annihilated by Muslims”, those who do otherwise are infidels, WHO is the authority to stop them?

these people are enough to burn a whole country alive…should i rejoice or question their ideology or put my head in the sand saying " impossible, Muhammad was misunderstood"?
