New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s (D) daughter, Chiara de Blasio, was arrested Saturday evening at a protest hotspot that had descended into rioting, the New York Post reports.

The 25-year-old De Blasio was taken into custody after 10:00 after police declared an unlawful assembly between 12th Street and Broadway in Manhattan. . . . .

Discipline her for being a brat? Calling people radical communists like her dad?
I wonder who those rioters were protesting?

I know you did, I think you recognise what moved all those people.

I’m not surprised. I never liked DiBlasio, he has not done good things for the city of New York in my opinion. I am counting the days till he and his whole family are out of office.

Information is starting to come in that leftist Anarchist groups are responsible for most of this violence (NY Post). Even Representative Ilhan Omar is saying outside groups are setting these fires. So much for saying these disruptions are just the voice of the unheard, This is intentional agitation.

More evidence grows, these are outsiders doing this.

God bless Ilhan Omar for condemning those who are causing violence and mayhem, exploiting a noble cause to disrupt American society., destroying business.

I’m glad this was reported, not to slight de Blasio but because it’s news worthy.

There is nothing wrong with being informed.

There really is a growing body of evidence of shady groups exploiting this situation and creating the violence we are seeing.

She must have been arrested for wrongdoing. I hope I never say God bless someone for breaking the law.

There is no problem with peaceful protests, there is something wrong with law breaking.

Castro hijacked a public uprising, Terrorists hijacked the Syrian uprising, largely if not totally peaceful.

It is time to respect the law, that pertains to everyone, those officers in Minneapolis with a fair trial and others.

God bless her for standing with those challenging the worst in our society.
I am left wondering if the 1960s protests and students and young people were very different to today. Some say gone were the days of student activism, until Hong Kong.

I feel bad for the police officers who have to go to work only to be abused and attacked by these thankless protestors (including apparently De Blasio’s shiftless daughter). I wish there were some way to thank them for putting up with this violent nonsense.

Now video has surfaced of antifa or whomever protesters setting fire to a homeless man’s few possessions. I just hope public opinion is guided by factual knowledge and not uninformed views.

I won’t link, because apparently, there might be an expletive; but this should be known as well.

I sure don’t say that if they are arsonists at these riots seeking to cause destruction. What’s next? “God bless arsonists who are exploiting the situation”?? Wow, just wow.
I agree, Victoria. Plenty of people have been attending peaceful protests during the daylight hours, police have even joined in the protests in some areas showing that they also oppose the violence that killed Mr. Floyd. There is no need for anyone to be out at 10 pm supporting people who want to fight with police and light fires. Fortunately the cities have imposed curfews and are calling out the National Guard to deal with that.

God bless the people (including residents of many neighborhoods) who are coming out in the morning helping to clean up the mess left behind by those who have no respect for others.

The protests are seeded with violent anarchists and other opportunists who want to cause as much violence and destruction as they can, for their own purposes.

I’m not saying that there weren’t riots.

The headline says she was arrested at a riot.

Every other headline if you google “Chiara DeBlasio” says “protest”.

The question is, what country, community, creed, has bred these suspected opportunists and why.
Where has society gone in terms of pathways to see this type of response throughout more then just one nation
