Good, if I say what I am thinking right now, I’ll get banned. Don’t bother coming back, friend.

I loved Marco Rubio, he’s a natural speaker and he will go farther. Romney is talking to people who don’t know his history, and he’s warm and personable tonight.

Clint was hilarious and didn’t use a prompter.

I have more hope tonight than I have in a long time.

👍
Me too. There seems to be so much promise in the Republican party.

Most Republicans can’t even take Romney. He’s a robot, an automaton. If you’re excited by this, then you could have been excited if the party members had come out and played board games tonight. The GOP has a group of loyal followers for sure (just look at this forum), but by and large people are getting really, really turned off–especially when it comes to views on women.

Well, maybe on guy - mayor of Newark? By contrast - our leaders are governors and senators who are touted for possible vice presidency. One Democrat I sort of liked and thought had a future was Harold Ford Jr. He’s no longer in politics - maybe he wasn’t liberal enough for the Democrats.

I don’t know.

I’m pretty sure we’ve got Obama for 4 more years.

After that a GOP will almost certainly be elected so the Right should benefit from some young stars.

Why do you think Obama will get re-elected?

Had no idea what “Honey Boo Boo” was. Checked it out. All I can say is anyone who wastes their time watching this program, probably shouldn’t be voting in the first place,so who cares that they are n’t watching the RNC?😃
👍👍 Amen sistah!

My views:

I love Clint, but he was a disaster so far as momentum goes. Rubio really had his work cut out for him after that.

Romney’s speech was adequate, but he has, IMHO, all the charisma of Al Gore, and he did a rather strange thing by embracing one of the most expensive public projects in US history…the race to the moon. I really think he was hoping for a bigger hit than he got.

Finally, I have definitely seem more enthusiasm in my years of watching conventions.

Conclusion…this will pay well to his firm base, but do little to sway Independents and Democratic uncertains.

Well, somebodies got their undies in a bunch.

If you are an old line political conservative, that is probably true. Yet, the real story is the party has just turned a corner, as is clearly evident not only in this nomination, but in the very faces seen over the course of the convention.

For example?

If you compare and contrast the stong successful women that spoke @ the RNC,to the women that the DNC plans to trot out,it is glaringly obvious which party is for empowering women and which one exploits them!

So you think you speak for most Republicans?

And speaking of Democrat views on women…I think we should ask the 25 million who don’t exist now because of the Democrat sacrament of abortion.
