Left wing lesbian rights advocate. She is always anti-Republican and Conservative. I love how people claim Fox is all right wing propaganda. I routinely scream and throw things when she, Juan Williams or Geraldo are on.

I guess “Faux News” is fair and balanced after all. Wouldn’t see any opposing views on MSNBC

First, it’s Rich, not Matt. Secondly, I’m willing to bet you money that we’ll see some gloating from your side. Thirdly, one doesn’t put four years of any administration behind one, not even Bush’s horrid last term. 🤷
You won’t see any gloating from me if Romney wins. You will see me down on my knees thanking God for His mercy.Giving us another chance to once again become “One Nation Under God,with liberty and jusice for all”:gopray2::gopray2::gopray2:

Seeker, I give you credit for being an intelligent poster, so you know how legislation works. No president, of either party, can wave a magic wand and will a “law” away. It has to go thru a process. It has more chance under GOP than Dems.
It is EXACTLY because we know how legislation works that we understand the political strategy against abortion is mostly about politics - it can do very little to substantially change the reality on the ground. Romney knows that to maximize political support he has to move towards the center on this issue, so do most politicians.

How can you think of voting for Obama if, as you strongly suggest, the pro-life issue is so important to you? If you believe Romney is not pro-life, you surely can’t believe that Obama is. (Not that I object to your voting for Obama, being a supporter of his myself; however, your position seems inconsistent to me.)
She said she was considering a write-in or a 3rd party vote.

I would actually go so far as to say that OBAMA is more pro life than Mitt Romney, because I believe he was sincere when he told the Pope that he wants to do whatever he can to reduce the number of abortions (the demand for abortions).
While it is theoretically possible that Obame feels this way, he has chosen to act in a way that is the exact opposite. His actions whenever a life issue has been on the table have all been to support and expand abortion. He has, in fact, done nothing to reduce the number of abortions in spite of having many opportunities.
Mitt Romney? For all we know, he is still secretly committed to his promise to protect a woman’s right to choose that he made when he was running for office in Massachusetts.
Lots of candidates evolve their positons. Even Ronald Reagan was pro-choice at one point in time. Wouldn’t you rather have someone that is “secretly” pro-choice but who acts pro-life than someone like Obama who claims to be pro-life but who acts pro-abortion?
Not to mention the fact that Mitt Romney isn’t even a Christian, so his concept of “pro-life” could mean any number of things. (he wants all babies to live forever on planet Kolob?) whatever
I don’t think forum rules allow you to call cadidates not Christian. But do you have any reason to think that he does not follow his own church’s teaching on abortion? You don’t have to measure him on the Catholic version of pro-life but here’s the Mormon definition:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believes in the sanctity of human life. Therefore, the Church opposes elective abortion for personal or social convenience, and counsels its members not to submit to, perform, encourage, pay for, or arrange for such abortions.
The Church allows for possible exceptions for its members when:
• Pregnancy results from rape or incest, or
• A competent physician determines that the life or health of the mother is in serious jeopardy, or
• A competent physician determines that the fetus has severe defects that will not allow the baby to survive beyond birth.
The Church teaches its members that even these rare exceptions do not justify abortion automatically. Abortion is a most serious matter and should be considered only after the persons involved have consulted with their local church leaders and feel through personal prayer that their decision is correct.
Even with those exceptions, it’s light years ahead of Obama’s position and actions in terms of being pro-life.

Same here!

There’s Steve Schmidt, former McCain campaign stategist; Michael Steele, former RNC manager; and Eric Anderson. Also, did you happen to see Chris Matthews the other evening defend private school vouchers and criticize the teachers’ unions? He got into a fiery debate with Ed Schultz and Al Sharpton on this: a sight to behold!

It is far more balanced than any other network. You have to look far and wide to find anything but a liberal echo chamber from the other alphabet soup or cable news outlets. Further when Fox has a mistake or misstatement, they simply admit it without all of the obfuscating and excuse making.

Those who dislike Fox generally haven’t seen it regularly or mistake one of the pundits for a news program. When I need to drink some Kool Aid I will listen to Sean Hannity. I know where he’s coming from. OTOH he’s not a newsman.

I will be interested to watch Fox’s coverage of the DNC as well. They have a number of liberal leaning reporters and commentators so hopefully will get both sides.

I thought their coverage of the RNC was good and appreciated this morning’s recap including the heart wrenching story of the couple whose son was befriended by Mitt Romney after his cancer diagnosis. I think that Romney succeeded in demonstrating he has a LIFETIME of service to others. And unlike the current resident of the White House who sings in only the key of ME ME ME ME ME ME!!! Romeny is clearly other directed. What many interpret as his woodenness or reticence to toot his own horn is a result of his upbringing and his church. I know a lot of Mormons and they are QUIET servants of the Lord. (well other than Harry Reid…) They take care of their families and their neighbors without expecting praise and honors. Romney is what he is and I am glad he didn’t try to be something else. He had plenty of surrogates to testify to what kind of man I hope and pray will be elected in November.

Sure it worked in exactly the way people think. And Obama probably thanks him for that today…
It made my laugh. Republican party is not known for having support of hollywood celebrities and it was fun for once to see a hollywood celeb support a republican. He has created his own meme, eastwooding 😛

We deserve better. Ok, I’ll agree with that. But NOT Mitt Romney. If you want better, vote for a Catholic Bishop, not a Mormon one.

You can do it. Write them in on the ballot. It’s a perfectly acceptable thing to do. I might write someone in.
you don’t understand. a Catholic bishop is not running for president - Mitt Romney is.
i don’t care if he is a Mormon. he is a man of faith with morals. he has high standards.
he is an American in every sense of the word. we don’t have much time left as the campaign is pointing out - i want my vote to go for Romney because as a country we cannot have 4 more years of Obama. after watching the Romney speech last night and hearing speeches from people who have known him - he is a caring and compassionate man and our country will be blessed to have him lead our country.

Suddenly Mitt Romney’s faith is an issue while Obama’s America-hating “church” of Black Liberation Theology was no problem???

HYPOCRITES!

It has more chance under GOP than Dems.
I would agree with you if some of its members were to show a little more compassion towards helping pregnant women. Actually Romney has shown this with his own Romneycare bill but he doesn’t want to advertise that fact. So just on party platforms, which party do you think a woman without support will turn to first?

You need to check out your local CPC. The biggest friend to the CPCs in the Houston area was Tom Delay The truth is that pro-abortion organizations do absolutely nothing for those who decide not to abort.
