Ironic, isn’t it?Is this a joke? You support arguably the most pro abortion president ever, and yet you question Romney’s pro life credentials, he actually has pro life voting record.

Excellent point! Your right, I haven’t done enough studying to “define” war profiteering…but the concept of profiteering is one of the conversations in the current debate…Look at the trend line in our military expenditures.
There are many different ways of measuring military spending.
Just between you and me, click on this and look at the chart.

You need to examine the “two war” strategy … for example.
Keeping in mind that building back up after a shut down, takes years and years.
After President Jimmy Carter’s fiasco with “Desert One” in which a major operation failed with a lot of U.S. deaths and a lot of humiliation, someone asked me how we could fall so far so fast. What I pointed out was that the average enlistment was for only two or three years … so that we had to rebuild half or a third of our military every year … just on a normal on-going basis. And if we cut back, there would be nothing to start from, … so we would have to start over.
If you want a ship, it takes years. Which is why we have an on-going ship building program. When you need to send sailors into combat, you don’t have the time to build a fleet and train the sailors. You have to fight with what you have. When Donald Rumsfeld, our Secretary of Defense under President Bush, said that, he was pilloried by the news media.
President Obama terminated production of the F-22 Stealth Fighter. If we decide we need more of them … how long do you think it will take to either design a new stealth fighter or build a whole new production infrastructure to resume F-22 production.
The Air Force bureaucracy, aided by constant attacks by John McCain [yes, THAT John McCain], was unable to make up their minds on a new aerial refueling tanker plane. Meanwhile the mainstay refueler, the KC-135 dates back to the 1950’s. They are on their second or third re-engining … and they have wing cracks. And in a FEW YEARS, we MAY have a modified Boeing 767 ever so slowly coming off the lines. [By the way, Boeing worked with the Italians and the Japanese and has delivered a 767 tanker … but, they weren’t using our bureaucracy.]

You can rail against war profiteering. But you can’t define it.
You can argue all day about the 10-year development of the F-15 versus the competition that produced the YF-16 and the YF-17 and John Boyd. And the F-18 platform. [And look up all of that.] [And how may years did it take to design, test and build the F-22?]
Anyway, you want military people and military hardware and you want to protect Americans? It’s not cheap and it’s not easy.
We’ll see what happens in South Carolina, but what you’re saying sounds to me like a bit of wishful thinking. I don’t think Gingrich would ever take the position of vice-president, not with his ego (and experience). However, Romney and Santorum may be a possibility.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z6CgGfMR7g&feature=youtu.be
Hopefully he can beat Romney so we can get a real Conservative and not a Massachusetts Moderate. Once he stops Romney’s momentum, we can hopefully get Rick Santorum’s momentum back, and it will be a Gingrich vs. Santorum campaign, which, considering their good friendship and similar beliefs, will likely lead to one of them being vice-president. Having two great Catholic Conservatives as president and vice-president would be an amazing accomplishment and blessing to America.
And record debt, lowering of our credit rating and trampling on the Constitution.Anyone but Obama. All we got with hope n change is millions in funding for planned parenthood and record poverty levels.

Google Romey’s past voting record. He is a moderate. In the 2000’s he has voted for partial birth abortions and he said that he is prolife but he voted that it was okay for others to have abortions in the past.I would be hugely satisfied to see Rick win the nomination. On a candidate test, we matched up almost perfectly…
but
how exactly is Romney a moderate? He is:
I admit that I am not sure as to his current stance on gay marriage and the 2nd Amendment, and would appreciate help there.
- Pro-life
- Pro lower taxes (including capital gains)
- anti Obamacare
- Pro a strong national defense
