He was found guilty of ethics violation and fined $200,000 for it. The vote was bi-partisan.

Romney bringing them up , with a sense of hatred, is mostly understandable from a point of warfare of the ancient sorts - he is after all , seemingly trying to fulfill the mandate of Joseph Smith , for Mormon control of the world ,…If Gingrich is sufffering with all the malignement or even abandonement from the princes of this world , hope he and those who support what he values, have powerful use of same , offering that up , for conversion of those who lie and hate the Lord , His Mother and the truth of our faith !..'I have a serious disagreement with painting Gingrich as a modern Joan of Arc and Romney as a possible antichrist. I can neither buy the Mormon Overlord theory nor will I judge Gingrich of having recently developed ethical principles until he shows this through his actions, not just his words.
 
You do know there is an Obama action figure, do you not? And Obama did one thing that neither Romney, Gingrich or Santorum has done: win the presidency. Instead of laughing, Republicans should be learning.

As to Mormonism’s teachings about Christianity and The Church , they are there for any one to look up - the part about all Christains being of the whore of Babylon and all that …

worth 4 million in support, last year alone , from Romney - serious commitment , to propagate such lies , through the army of missionaries, all through the world !

That is part of the past of Romney too !
 
So the debate was tonight. I just have to say I’m am completely sick and tired of Gingrich’s smirky little smile and school yard games of he said she said. As much as I prefer Santorum I think I’m going to vote for Romney in my primary because I do not want Gingrich to win under any circumstance even though I agree with him on some stuff.

I thought overall Santorum did the best and won the debate. I particularly liked Newt and Mitt’s answers to the Palestinian question. Ron Paul had the best line of the night saying he would challenge any of them to a 25 mile bike ride in the heat of Texas…anytime! 😛

I’ll take any one of them over Obama in November in a heartbeat.

That’s quite an endorsement. So, you are saying Ron Paul is as serious as Obama? Great. 😛

I think I prefer my candidates to have some decorum. It’s bad enough that they all feel compelled to do the Top Ten on the Letterman show. 😦

I hope Romney wins it already so we can stop this nonsense and get on with picking a vice president and taking on Obama. If the media scrutinized Obama in the way they scrutinize the GOP it might even be a fair election.

I was impressed by Romney in the debate. I expected him to be just mediocre, and he did way better than I thought he would. Gingrich should of never of allowed that ad to come out where he called Romney anti immigrant.

Actually, I have heard it theorized that they would do exactly that and reveal something that would completely disqualify him as president.
And having cleared the field, and effectively derailed any argument over the record as well as set up a scape goat for it, run someone else for the Democratic candidate.

Four more years of Obama, or Mitt the RINO, and those action figures may be all we have left.

Yep, a winning night for Romney, at least in terms of style and performance. Apparently hiring Bachmann’s old debate coach was a good idea. Santorum laid some hits on him but that won’t stop him from winning Florida.

Yes, they should. It’s a nebulous term that is used as a bogeyman. There isn’t a set group called the establishment that all think and vote the same way. Many politicians/media who would be considered part of the establishment (e.g. Gingrich) are the biggest complainers about the establishment. 😛
 
Definitely Santorum’s night. Romney a close second. These debates with Newt are making Romney a better debater. It also helped that the house seemed to be packed with Romney supporters or at least people predisposed to like Romney.

Real bad night for Newt. He had to have a good night, he didn’t. Romney will probably win FL now with Newt, Paul and Santorum splitting the non-Romney vote.

Paul was consistent, but I don’t think he did anything to improve his FL performance.

NV on Feb 4 is next which is a caucus state. (Maine has a “nonbinding caucus”) Here is my prediction:

Ron Paul will do better in NV, probably 25% or so of the vote (he does better in caucus states), but Mitt will win. NV is a more moderate state with a lot of Mormons (States with a lot of Mormons are: Utah, NV and AZ) Mitt should do very well in Utah and NV, and maybe AZ (if there is still a race at the time these other states vote.)

No idea about Maine

Feb 7 has 3 states voting (CO, MN, Missouri - which has 0 delegates) only one with a binding caucus (Minn) another more liberal state. Ron Paul should do well there too, not so sure about Mitt v Newt v Santorum

If we get this far:

AZ will vote on 2/28 as will Michigan.
