Hypocrasy.

Obama is the one who said he didn’t like running into homeless people in the street.
I guess that’s why he keeps his family in Africa - less embarrassment and it doesn’t cost him a thing.

If he was really really really concerned about the poor, he wouldn’t give them his own money, he would give them someone else’s money, like Ted Kennedy did.

By the way, does anyone know where this poor guy can get some money?

Romney gave 4 million to charity last year. Obama… yeah… less than 1 %. Biden… less than $400.

Obama’s latest vacation was 4 million.

It appears to me… Romney is far more concerned with the poor.

But keep up with the misleading headlines ABC… most of us aren’t that stupid.
It’s the media.

This really works you guys up doesn’t it? I dont think I’'ve seen responses this fast. 😃

His religion requires him to give 10 percent to his church and verify that in documentation if he is to retain his Mormon “priesthood” status.
He gives more to charity than your “man,” Obama and Biden combined for that matter

I’m no Mitt fan but you have blatently misread the article.

Like I said before… He gives more to the poor than Obama and Biden. And he doesn’t have to be a Mormon Priest.

How is this a problem?

Catholicism suggests 5% to your parish and 5% to other charities of your choice. Unfortunately, most Catholics don’t do that.
The actual church law is

“Contribute to the good of the Church.” No percentiles are given. Indeed time is fine.

He’s toast now.

I can’t believe somebody running for president would say such a thing…whether they meant it or not. Duh.

I support Santorum anyway.

Correct. Just because tithing isn’t demanded of Catholics for them to remain in good standing, it still is asked of us. And, sadly, your last sentence is too true.

First, 80% of them don’t even attend Mass.

Second, if they don’t even attend Mass, which teachings would you expect them to follow?
