All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments… well, I’ve seen precious little of the “Love thy neighbour” here.
Here’s a girl who has been RAPED on church property, who has been VIOLENTLY ATTACKED, and is in fear of her life.
And all some can do is mumble about appearances, how even if she’s living chastely, it looks bad.
Matthew 23:23-24
23 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.
24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.
You strain at the “hint of scandal”, but swallow the cruelty and venom this girl has been subject to by “God-Fearing Christians” without saying a word.
Yes, I know that you mean well. I know you’re trying to do the right thing. But those verses were aimed at people
just like you.
And meanwhile, you prattle on about “chromosomes” as if you knew anything but the most basic, grade-school simplifications of biological reality. And use that to justify your sanctimony.
There are people on this site who actually know something about the subject. Why not ask them, instead of relying on what you read in simplified beginner’s grade-school textbooks?

XY chromosomes don’t make someone male. And you can’t rely on genitalia and appearance at birth either, because that can change due to natural causes.

It is difficult enough for anyone born with a body neither wholly male nor wholly female. Whose anatomy in one area may conform to a feminine stereotype, and another area, a masculine stereotype. Difficult enough from a medical viewpoint, and a legal viewpoint too. But most difficult is the malice with which they are treated by ignorant and sanctimonious hypocrites, always willing to pass judgement at the drop of a hat, and always willing to condemn those whose position they don’t bother making even a superficial effort to understand.
Judges who think they are “doing God’s work”, while violating in the most terrible way the basics that all the laws, regulations, the whole magisterium in fact, are based on.
Consider just the titles of these scientific papers. You don’t have to be a Rocket Scientist to understand the papers. You don’t even have to read them, just the titles are sufficient:

I’ll simplify. Over-simplify, or I’ll be talking about the BSTc layer of the hypothalamus, lymbic system complexes and so on, blinding you with science and causing your eyes to glaze over in blank incomprehension.
Men have male brains. Women have female brains. They differ, anatomically.
And that means that transsexual women have female brains too. Not just “spiritually” female, or “psychologically” female, but physically, biologically,
anatomically female. That’s what makes women, women, not chromosomes - which are just a genetic plan that may not have been followed - or external appearance - which can change due to natural causes, hormonal therapy, accident, illness or surgery.The very definition of a transsexual woman is one born with (mostly) feminine neuro-anatomy, and (mostly) masculine other anatomy.
While I feel sympathy and compassion for MariaTS in her terrible ordeal, literally driven out of her job by the malicious and spiteful, I feel far more sorry for those who would rather see her die - and that is what moving out would in all probability mean for her - rather than violate their pious ideals of propriety and appearance. Because you “mean well”, but when the Day of Reckoning comes, you will realise that that’s what you’re been doing.
Now pardon me, after pointing out the specks in your eyes, I have a rather large deciduous forest in my own I have to deal with. And I’m not even Christian.
