I invite them to read Church teaching, pray, and seek council from their priest regarding the issue.

Talk to your priests. Why would posters not want you to trust your priests? They state that priests don’t know the teaching of the Church and could lead you astray.

Pray and read Church documents.

There is no sin in voting for a Pro-Choice Candidate given that you desagree with this stance, but through prayer and council believe there is proportionate reason to do so.

As the Bishops say “Catholics are not one-issue voters”.

America is moving to a two-tiered society with income inequality but even the people here who state your fortunes are in your control are not actively wishing bad things on the poor (that I’ve noticed).

Very well said. I think that only if people believe like your father does - that the GOP is evil and wants people to starve, then they will vote for the Democrat party who wants abortion to be legal. Now I don’t mean to be insulting at all, but why do you think your father buys into the fear campaign about the GOP hook, line, and sinker? Is he just gulllible? Doesn’t he know that the GOP has been criticized from the right (i.e. Ron Paul supporters) for keeping the safety net in place? Is your father a union member? I know that the unions use propoganda to brainwash folks into believing lies about the GOP.

Abortion will remain legal in this country until Catholic Democrsts come to love the unborn more than they hate the Republican Party
 
With a tenure in office to date of 11 years, 16 days, Perry is the longest continuously serving current U.S. governor, and the second longest serving current U.S. governor after Terry Branstad of Iowa.

As the Governor of Texas he has to balance the budget… he actually knows how to do it and is required by law to do it.

Texas is what most states would like to be like. Billions in the bank,… no state income taxes… businesses relocating to…

He has the best record, in my opinion. He checks all the boxes for me.

Although I am voting for whoever wins the nomination. My pick is Perry.

Well if he leaves, at least he informed the nation during the FOX debate this wk that South Carolina is at war with the United States of America’s government.
 
This hurts Santorum because it fuels momentum for Newt at a critical time in the SC race.
 
I wonder if Newt promised him a cabinet position in exchange for this timely drop-out. He would be Secretary of … um,…I forgot. Oops.
 
huge boost? Eh, Perry has been in the bottom tier for ages. At most he gives Gingrich his whopping 5% and I don’t think all of the Perry supporters will go with Gingrich.
 
And tonight ABC is airing an exclusive interview with Newt Gingrich’s ex-wife, that his daughters have asked the network not to show. Hopefully this will be a direct hit on the Gingrich campaign.
