I agree, but I do think God cares about the people leading the many nations. IMO, he will not prevent our national free will from taking place, but I also firmly believe that God does care.

Thatās what I was wondering. When Huntsman dropped and endorsed Romney, people scoffed at the āsingle digitā support he was shifting. Apparently, Perryās 5% is much larger than Huntsmnanās 5%.
Anyway, I think it will be a boost in the race, but Iām not clear it will be enough. At least, itās getting interesting. Now, if Santorum pulls outā¦

Sure we do. We can still live our personal lives under our faith in Christ. The nation still retains its corporate free will, it is just that on a corporate level we are making a lot of immoral choices.

Yes, but THAT is a huge deal. The national media, and even GOP leaning radio stations and tv shows, all proclaimed that Romney made history. Whenever a person is proclaimed to be historic, they see their support firm-up even more. Many people want to latch-on to the winning team.
YetāRomney was NOT historic at all because he did not win IA. He won NH as expected, but he lost IA. That is huge, but it will not be reported as such because pretty much everyone has Romney as winning the nomination.

Actually it was reported as a win when Romney actually LOST - no news report that I saw carried the headline āROMNEY and SANTORUM TIE in IOWAā. Even your own post shows the āin the tankā thought process by saying (incorrectly) Iowa was a tie then stating āback-to-back winsā.

Yes, and the false declaration gave Romney momentum, and a so-called historic claim, that should not have existed. That declaration (that Romney won), potentially took votes from all the candidates.
Santorum should have been the candidate with the huge momentum, but people do not easily get impressed with an āalmost win.ā
For the sake of the nation, and the GOP nominating process, it would be better if this dragged on longer, but it is basically over and that false declaration helped make that happen.

Even though Perry didnāt win the nomination, it was good for all of us that he ran. His voice was heard. He made some very important points, that might never have been said and heard and pondered.
In the last debate, it was very important that he pointed out that the states were at war with the federal government and Christianity. His examples of of the federal gov blocking a Boeing moving to South Carolina, blocking their voter ID laws, blocking their illegal immigrant laws.
He kept emphasizing the the fed gov was interfering too much with the states and business. Very important point for all of us to remember.

Iām sad to see Rick Perry go. Not that he was the best candidate, but because he made a lot of good points. He wasnāt the best on immigration laws, and thatās where we needed to be stopped, but I will miss how he always smiled at the debates no matter what. Whether he was winning, losing, defending himself, or making a point about Romney, he was always positive and smiled, and I will miss that in the debates. Now, itās going to be all points, and only smiles when one gets applause.

BTW, am back after fracturing a leg in NYC falling down the stairs in the NY Subway system, and recovering enough to get around on a walker. A bad scene for a Tango dancer. Canāt wait until I can walk on a cane.
