In 2008, Ron Paul had this to say about global warming:

It is clear that the earth experiences natural cycles in temperature. However, science shows that human activity probably does play a role in stimulating the current fluctuations.

By 2009, Paul said:

The greatest hoax I think that has been around for many, many years if not hundreds of years has been this hoax on ...] global warming.”

It might turn out to be one of the biggest hoaxes of all history, this whole global warming terrorism that they’ve been using, but we’ll have to just wait and see, but it cannot be helpful.

RonPaul.com says this change in position was “additional consideration and analysis” on the part of Ron Paul.

Ron Paul also changed his mind on capital punishment, because he concluded it was racially biased against minorities.

And you are free to believe Romney all you want, as knowing Dr. Paul has changed some of my own positions, and I believe in Dr. Paul’s sincerety in changing his.

Romney, I don’t believe for one second. I think he will sell conservatism out in the name of compromise the second the doors close behind him.

We were FAR from minding our own business. FDR used sanctions and political maneuvering to bait the Japanese into war with us, a war Japan knew it could never win.

I think the facts are being stretched a bit here. There was a movement to isolate Japan from purchasing petroleum products something they needed to fuel their war efforts. This was done to pressure the Japanese to withdraw from their hostilities in China. So, I think calling it baiting is a bit of an over exaggeration. As I have said before, there are some folks who just want to rule the world or to watch the world burn. It is irresponsible for us the US to idly sit by a let it happen.

Most people realize that a would be 78-year-old when he enters office, 30-year Congressman who has never been able to get any of his own authored legislation passed, isn’t the best choice for President of the United States. He has some great ideas, but he would be totally ineffective. A president has to work with Congress.

isn’t the best choice for President of the United States. He has some great ideas, but he would be totally ineffective. A president has to work with Congress.

Considering where this country is now, the leadership we have now, including the President and Congress, the current state of affairs both foreign and domestic…

I question the mainstream, average persons way of thinking in what is or isn’t the best choice for President of the United States.

Sometimes to convince people of their own folley, one just has to let them have their way, and hopefully one is able to pick up the pieces afterwards.

Interventionism generates economic nationalism, and economic
nationalism generates bellicosity. If men and commodities are
prevented from crossing the borderlines, why should not the
armies try to pave the way for them?

And whose to pick up the pieces of our own country once interventionism has finished us off?

I’m sure the Chinese would be much obliged.

One thing I will admit: he will get both Democrats and Republicans to come to the center in order to override all of his vetoes. I guess that’s what y’all are hoping for, right?

Of course, he was successful at getting pork for his district, but that isn’t really a qualifier either…

Not like he ever voted for it. Regarding not making friends and money going to his district he said this:

As for China, that ship as already sailed. We are quickly approaching a debt that cannot be repaid regardless of what we do.

You have way more faith in a system that’s proven itself fatally flawed than I ever will again.

As someone I like to listen to on occasion says, “the new sane is the old insane and the old sane is the new insane”. The center’s moving left, and the Republicans are chasing it left.

Using non-interventionism and smart trading practices we can easily avoid it all.

As for China, that ship as already sailed. We are quickly approaching a debt that cannot be repaid regardless of what we do.

We can repay it, but with folks chasing the same old type of politicians and the same old politics it will never get done.
