Loving God,

We ask for your special mercy and comfort for your loving child Baptista who has been bravely carrying your Cross through a series of difficult chemo treatments. Please grant courage and strength to Baptista and bless the medical staff and all who minister to and support Baptista during this time. Please send your comforting and warm Holy Spirit to help guide Baptista through the days to come and provide a sense of humor and love to all who interact with her during this time to help keep her spirits and attitude up.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the master healer of all that ails us in this world and our Savior in the world to come.

Amen.
Hope Jhash doesn’t mind, but such beautiful prayer, I would like to also offer this up for Peggy…God Bless…

For “Round Four” dear Baptista, I am still praying for you in my daily rosaries! I know you hate to ask for prayer but I also know that this kind of thing is not easily borne alone! We can not give you healing but our Saviour can and it is for that, that we pray!

**_______________

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother;
to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Merciful Lord of all healing, we beseech Your mercy upon Peggy, our sister in Christ, as she embarks upon the final treatment for her affliction. As the treatment takes its toll on her, graciously support her with love, strengthening her to face every challenge which confronts her. Father of love, her treatment can be severe, and its effects debilitating. We implore Your merciful blessing upon her, sparing her the worst of the side effects. May she constantly turn to You for strength, knowing that You do not fail. Reveal your love to her through those who care for her, and we ask that You make her aware of prayers on her behalf by easing her suffering. Graciously join our prayers with those of Your Angels and Saints to form a constant petition for mercy upon her. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of Grace
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Father, please help Peggy to get through this and to experience improvement and recovery. Please give her special spiritual blessing in this time.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Again, I want to thank you. You are all such a blessing from God. The nausea is very, very minimal, Praise God. Just very tired and the blurring of vision is bothering me because I have had to take compazine for the nausea, but it helps tremendously. More so than before, so a little blurred vision will be taken with thanks.

I found out from the radiation oncologist that after the tests are done several weeks, (I think several weeks) after this chemo round is finished, that I will be starting on the radiation treatment to the brain. They need to wait and see if it has spread there to know the strength of those treatments. It will be 3 weeks of radiation, every day. Please pray I will be strong for these treatments, also.

I am remembering you all in my prayers. May God bless each and every one of you abundantaly.

Baptista, You remain in my prayers

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Gracious and loving Lord, we bless Your Holy Name and thank You for bringing Peggy forth and sustaining her to this day. So that Your plan is realized, we beseech You to look with great compassion upon Peggy as she awaits further treatment for a most insidious affliction. Grant her the gift of fortitude, allowing her to face each additional appointment with faith and courage. Father, You are in control of all in the universe. Please guide the treatment directly to where it is needed most and spare her from the worst side effects. We are confident that she will offer any suffering up to Your Blessed Son Jesus on His cross. We ask that her body has time to recover and that her faith will remain unshaken. Give her doctor and other medical staff hearts of love, which will encourage her to persevere in trust. We ask this through the same Christ Jesus, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! ALleluia!

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Peggy)

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen

Again, thank you so much, everyone! Today was the last day of the Chemo, and that is cause for celebration. However I have been feeling alot of nausea. My own fault. I forgot to take my nausea medication. The ‘chemo brain’ is worse today. Coming on here and seeing where I mentioned it reminded me, so this forum helped me in that! I felt like the person on the t.v. commercial. Instead of, “I coulda’ had a V-8”. “I coulda’ had a Compazine!”

I offer up the extra nausea, and all my pain tonight for the intention of everyone here in thanksgiving for your prayers for me. God bless you all, you have no idea how much the thought of all of you praying has helped me.

Dear Baptista, I just wanted to remind you that you are in the intentions for 6 rosaries that are prayed daily! I will remind the Lord about the nausea tonight, although maybe the medication has remedied that? I will still pray!
