Well, it’s look like Roy getting caught in a lie:

So, he doesn’t know any of these women, but he sent one of them a graduation card. At what point is there enough evidence for the Moore-molesting deniers out there?

I guess Roy will be wanting that to be subjected to handwriting analysis…

If you read beyond the flames in the link, you will see that Republican legislature in Alabama recently passed a bill, signed into law by the Republican governor to allow voting by people who had been convicted of certain kinds of felonies.
To echo what dvdjs said, the ACLU and others are working entirely within the law to register voters who are entitled to vote under Alabama law, a law passed by Republicans and signed into law by a Republican governor.

Is anyone here saying there’s something wrong with advising people that they have a legal right to vote? And assisting those people to register?

I really don’t think anyone here is that anti-democracy.

In the scrap book she also described a date with him.

She was 17 he was 34.

But for a minute I thought she was the women with the yearbook. This is a different woman with another similarly written note.

I’m looking forward to the many MonteRCMS posts on how this isn’t real too.

No doubt that there is someone, somewhere who will post that it is all wrong.
That will be amplified and by verbatim repetition in the inernet echo chamber.
Then, with so many site reporting it, how could it not be true?

Why does a Republican act like this as he’s leaving office? Ditto for Democrats though I am hard pressed to think of an example at this point.

Probably to take a jab at Trump, who had just called him (and others) to a meeting saying he is backing Moore.

Also the RNC has decided to release campaign funds to Moore.
That really surprises me. I realize that the Republican Party wants to make sure that they hold on to that Senate seat, but I would have thought that they’d be reluctant to get behind Moore in such a public fashion. I expected them to try to keep more distance between the party and Moore.

It’s really opening the door for every Democrat in Congress to run against Moore next year. They can ask their opponents if they are ok with a pedophile being in Congress. They can point out the party supported his campaign.

IMO, the Republicans will be better off if Moore loses because he’ll cause more problems for them if he wins and stays in the news longer.

Maybe. Or maybe the Republicans are counting on the angry malcontent vote. You know, like “Good for Roy and the Republican Party. They really stuck it to the Dems/snowflakes/libtards/elitists/secularists/transgenders/whatevers.”

Oh, they are dependent on that vote, but I think mid-term results will depend on the energy of the different factions and if people are mad (like, well, anyone will a sense of decency that maybe someone who sexually assaults a child should not be a member of Congress), then that will drive turnout.
