I number of the believing remnant are members of my church. In fact last year I went to my first sader(SP).
Could you tell me what is interesting about the Hebrew Christians?

The woman in Rev 12 is the Nation of Israel.

the zionist movement will usher in the tribulation.
All the lost tribes will be returning to Israel and a new temple will be built.
New Sanhedrin is already formed.
All temple utensils are already made.
The time is near. Praise God!
I read something yesterday that sort of surprised me.

The red dragon may represent Herod. Since ā€œEdomā€ actually means ā€œred,ā€ the ā€œredā€ dragon , may refer to the fact that Herod was an Edomite. The dragon, therefore, seeks to destroy the infant Christ as Herod did. Just as the Holy Family fled to Egypt, so the ā€œwomanā€ also takes flight into the wilderness.

Herod’s kingship, then, is the antithesis, the very opposite, of Christ’s. Herod gained his throne through murder, was not the rightful heir to the throne, and established an earthly temple. Christ is the rightful heir, as God’s true Son and as the Son of David. His kingdom is not of this world, and His temple is in heaven. Hrod represents everythign that must be destroyed when the new creation is ushered in.

BTW, does anyone know what our good friend Newbie did to get banned, and was it very hard to see that coming?

And I assure you that as long as I stay grounded in biblical truth, I will not pray to Mary or saints, I will not believe the assumption or immaculate conception, and I will not kneel in front of a statue among other things.
Sorry if someone has already commented on this. I don’t have time to read the entire thread right now. Just wanted to point out to newbie that you are not required to pray to Mary or saints or kneel in front of a statue in order to be a Catholic Christian. These are ways we can enrich our faith life, but they are certainly not requirements or obligations.

Peace to you,
Tami

Believers, this may be a good time to bring up where your faith doesn’t jive with Sacred Scripture.

Why do you reject that a man, such as a Catholic Priest, can forgive our sins, as Jesus clearly commanded in John chapter 20 (20-21). Matthew even supports this when, after the forgiveness and healing of the paralytic, "all the people praised God for giving this power to men".
Okay, my question is:

If Jesus said ā€œwhatever sins you forgive are forgivenā€, how would the Apostles know which sins to forgive if noone tells them how they have sinned?

I’m pretty sure that Jesus DID NOT give the Apostles the charism of ESP… šŸ˜‰

Hence, confession sounds like the next best thing! Good question, mwok!
