mgrfin: Defending the Latin rite and defending Lefebreve are on the same plane.

What foolishness.

I thought this was a thread about the Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Sallus Est Dogma.
I would like to say that there is NO SALVATION OUTSIDE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. No exceptions.
How’s that maybe ya’ll don’t feel like discussing this anymore. I don’t know but, I do know making a statement like I just made is bound to get people talking.
Good! But the Feeneyphobics will be angered.

When you are going to write even a short post criticizing someone’s intelligence, I wish you check you your own spelling.

apostacy
dialoge
juvinile
mia culpa
procede

Instead of, what is correct:
apostasy
dialogue
juvenile
mea culpa
proceed.

Nice doing business with ya!

peace
Candidly… everyone here knows what he meant.

I don’t know. I love the Mass in the language of the people. But for my own personal use I love a good Latin Mass as well.

Can’t I have it both ways?

Feeneyphobics? You mean schimatics, apostates and heretics?

peace
I don’t understand. Are the Feenyphobics, (people who disagree with Fr. Feeney), schimatics, apostates and heretics? Or do you think the people who agree with Fr. Feeney, and Church teaching by the way, are schimatics, apostates and heretics?

This confused me, too. I thought that Feeneyphobics meant those that follow Feeney (presumably emulating his phobias?? didn’t make sense, I know). In context I guess it means those that don’t follow Feeney, but then I really don’t get where the phobia thing comes in. Of course fearing Feeney, or refusing to follow the teachings he is best known for, would not be schismatic or heretical.

Of course!

And didn’t you just defended the Latin Mass?

No, actually I don’t. Can you explain it to me. It seems irrelevant to the substance of the discussion. But maybe you can enlighten me.

If someone spells out, “apostacy” instead of “apostasy”, or “dialoge” rather than “dialogue”, then you don’t know what they mean?
